@@mumtazs9754 I used to eat around 1000 calories a day, do around 3 hours of Hiit plus cardio a day. I was 61 at a height of 163 cm. After this, I started binging of weekends and starving on other days. Eventually one day I remember I just didn't want to live anymore (I was having other problems too at this time) and I just stood at my balcony wanting to give up on who I am, both outside and inside. I stopped, called my friend and told her what happened. She was so so incredibly supportive, and I slowly started eating again. I started eating a lot(I am 63 kgs now) but I am learning that I am good and the number on a scale doesn't tell me my worth. I still have relapses where I try to restrict, but I'm. I knew you would love Blair!! I watch you both and feel like I learn alot from you both. My main reason for finding you was honestly searching for someone to show me whats "normal" and ok. Ive really learned alot. I have had eating disorders pretty much all my life. I was overweight for years, and after a hard break up I lost alot of weight. I got plastic surgery, which only heightend my already disored way of looking at myself, and developed anorexia and bulimia. I have been at a healthy weight for the past three years, but ive avoided diet culture completly for fear of spinning out of control again. People like you have really helped me see diet in a more normal and non-obsessive way. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a good role model, with no pressure to always eat the "perfect" food. I feel some "extreme" diets may work for some people, but this does not work for me. I enjoy blairs content because of her honesty and humour, but you are my go to when I need a reminder that certain patterns dont work very well for me. Lots of love from me to you and your beatiful family

For people who need to lose weight not just for aesthetics, but for their health, keto paired with intermittent fasting is a great way to lose weight and even reverse diabetes. I am back on keto, but getting most of my carbs from veg like leafy greens, zucchini, and mushrooms and a little onion and garlic. I LOVE me some zucchini-mushroom stir-fry! I also have blackberries and raspberries in moderation. I do also allow some room for treats that fit with the keto diet. I'm not doing this to become a little skinny minnie. I'm doing this to get back my health. I am at high risk of developing diabetes right now, and I want to have more energy and ability to keep up with the children at work (I am an early childhood educator and I work with infants/toddlers as well as preschool age children). I am also doing this because I don't want to feel winded from going up the stairs, and I want to be able to enjoy going hiking without being in pain.

Hi Abby, love you channel, but please, be careful while promoting oral care products like toothpastes with whitening agents in them. I've suffered from high sensitivity throughout years so much that I couldn't barely drink room temperature water without pain. My sensitivity issue was gone once my dentist explained to me that whitening agents can damage the outer layer of the tooth, specially when used long term, therefore the whitening should only be done by a professionally qualified dentist. I ditched my whitening toothpaste, and the problem was gone some months later. It worries me because nowadays black toothpastes made with activated charcoal are becoming trendy, and those are the worst.

Blair is so fun! I’m overjoyed to see that she eats actually very reasonably and intuitively, not as restrictive as her “skinny legend” titles and challenges would imply. The satire in those challenges is pretty subtle though, a couple years ago I could definitely see myself taking those restrictive eating challenges as a guide for how to eat in my own life. Hopefully teens and young people can see through the sarcasm to the reality that she doesn’t actually endorse those eating habits, because if you didn’t know it was satire, you might not figure it out on your own if you aren’t a heavy sarcasm user yourself.

I am finding the Wahls protocol to have a profoundly better impact on my/their mindset vs AIP Protocol and thus my compliance is higher. Auto immune diseases are on the rise so maybe you have a silent audience. With all of that said, I 100% understand if these type of eating reviews do not make it to production since they don’t match with your large audience. Grateful for your consideration nonetheless 😊❣️

The water thing is huuuge. Diet culture taught me to drink water instead of eating to ward off cravings, and I had to unlearn that. Then through intuitive eating I RE-LEARNED that when I don't drink enough water I get headaches, and I eat all day without ever feeling satisfied. 🥴

Yuuuuup lord it’s a journey isn’t it? I used to drink water to ward off cravings too, but if I don’t drink enough of it I’ll get headaches and body aches.

You seem to make these videos mainly to reassure people with eating disorders and debunk “diet myths”. Not just sharing information about nutrition. I really really appreciate that!

Thank you for making me feel better about my canned peaches (in juice) that I throw in my lunchbox every once in a while. I work outdoors and my lunch gets jiggled around in a daypack for miles and most fruits just don’t make it. I can only eat so many apples before I’m sick of them so canned fruit cups give me a bit more variety. They also don’t go funky without refrigeration. I’ve also been known to buy those fruit purée pouches for kids because they’re equally convenient. At least I’m getting my fiber and nutrients.

Oh yeah, thank you for the education about Nurtrional Yeast, super easy to incorporate into lots of food and I actually enjoy it! On hot foods, it actually kind of melts! Yum! So thank you for that info, I'm loving especially as I have a history of low B12 So much great healthy information, as always, thank you so much for your great work!

Would you ever do something like a video about "Nutrition 101"? I love all of your videos but can get quite confused sometimes as I know nothing about food and nutrition and would really like to learn :)

I had an orthognathic surgery and I must eat only liquids for 45 days. What can you recommend me to make it a balanced diet?

A good and decent protein powder that has vitamins and minerals in it too combined with fruits and nut butter in a smoothie. A fruit smoothie with hemp seeds added and some frozen veggies like cucumber, zucchini and cauliflower. Water. Water with greens powder. Fizzy water if that's allowed with lemon and orange slices in it. Soups -- veggie soups, well blended. A milkshake every once in a while too. Water with vitamin powder in it might help too. Good luck!!

Thankfully it's illegal to smoke in Canada. I remember when the took down the barrier in Tim Hortons between the smoking and non-smoking areas. I was a teenager, and I definitely remember wanting to leave a bingo hall because of all the smoke.

@demetter79364 жыл бұрын
@@ZeinabAidid Biological women menstruate. Calling yourself a woman if born a biological man doesn't make you a biological woman, it just means you think you're something and it makes you comfortable being that thing.
