Im a vegetarian i get plentyyyy of protein and you can as a vegan too
@mothershipexe22426 минут бұрын
It is physically impossible to have 0kcal alcoholic drinks. Fat has 9 cal per gram, protein and carbs have 4 cal per gram and alcohol has 7 cal per gram. It's not the rest of the drink that carries the calories, it's the alcohol itself. That's also often why it is so dangerous for getting korsakoff syndrome (also called alcohol dementia). Alcoholics will often feel full from the alcohol and might become incapable of keeping food down, causing such a deficiency in vitamin B1 that your brain literally atrophies to the point where you have pretty much self induced dementia.

Ooh a triple whammy! Pseudoscience, orthorexia and child exploitation all in a single video. For real though, Ew.

If you have the means to be eating all organic, non-gmo, heritage type foods, great! Our FDA lets too much slide. However, this is very extremist and might cause a lot of food fears and disordered eating for her kid down the line. Not to mention, there's a big delivery problem for how these healthy food stances are being shared. 😬 More importantly, kids aren't social media props. 🛑

In all honesty, if I heard that from a kid I knew, I'd call Child Protective Services.

Okay, so I watched the original and felt that the kid was doing it as satire which might mean that they have conversations about things that she might hear from other adults.

I think teaching kids to read ingredients is really great. I teach our kids all the same things as the girl in the video (it's common knowledge at this point) and more, buuuut I also teach them that the dose makes the poison. We eat everything we can afford, prioritizing nutritional content first, everything else is extra if budget allows. If we go somewhere and someone offers my kids candy, of course they can have some. And we eat out when we can. Letting them eat too many desserts at church potluck so they learn how to make better choices next time is fine. Teaching kids with food sensitivities how to read ingredients is what responsible parents should do. I'm genuinely confused about why this is an issue.

I agree with this but I want to add that I do understand why people are turning to alternatives (and its sad that they get taken advantage of in the process). Especially the chronically ill who openly express how let down they feel by the existing medical system. It is hard to trust an industry that has openly said they can't help you or you cannot access the help you need because specialist appointment costs are through the roof.

I’m surprised the Dallas Cowboys aren’t embarrassed about their own stingy, miserly, reckless behaviour towards their star athletes. They would be shamed if they treated their male football players this way.

The kid is indoctrinated, no doubt about it, but growth hormones are totaly illegal in Europe and yes potentially they can induce precoucious puberty. 😂 I have no clue how sweeteners get metabolized in our body, but I avoide them more than sugare since I really don't stomac them and they give me a prompt laxative effect every time.

As a non native English speaker, I almost cannot catch a word of this video since it's so fast. Very annoying.
@Beeperoni18 минут бұрын
It’s sped up to fit the time limit. I believe you can also slow it down, or even add captions.
@anne-claudec94052 минут бұрын
@Beeperoni I haven't found how to slow the short videos (no problem for the normal ones), and even with captions the whole thing is too fast and a mess and I don't really feel like watching a video 10 times in order to understand what's going on.

No don’t cook with it on less you’re just doing it bc you like the taste* when it gets heated oxidation occurs very quickly and thats exactly the opposite effect on your body you’re looking for if you’re taking it for health benefits, to get the most good out of it definitely best raw uncooked but cooking with olive oil is tasty and better than corn oils or seed oils for cooking if you’re using it for health.

So the guy who eats McDonald’s for 90% of his diet and looks fat as fuck and the guy who eats road kill which gave him brain worms will make America healthier. Question, why didn’t Trump do anything about health in his first term. Answer he doesn’t give a shit and you’re brainwashed.

It doesn’t even make sense, because “butter mom” gives connotations of rich, full fat meals and I guess a more laid back attitude? And yet the mother showed here is clearly extremely fit and seemingly preoccupied with health/fitness (this is just how it looks from the outside anyway).

The angry vegans in this comment section are too funny. Many people still refer to meat as just “protein” and being obtuse for semantics doesn’t help your cause. You knew what they meant and got mad they didn’t use the proper wording for you when most people in a regular conversation would understand what they meant. If you want to explain how to get protein on a vegan diet you can do that without being combative. If you want to explain how it’s incorrect & harmful to refer to meat as just “protein” you can do that without taking your vegan rage out on someone.

Hot take- this is why NIL has shaken everyone in sports who profits off of exploitation. It cracks open the door to more empowered young people whose livelihoods aren't determined by following everything an authority tells them to do. I would LOVE to see a Mackenzie Scott or Melinda Gates buy a sports team and do "radical" profit sharing, health coverage and equal pay. Unfortunately the only way pay discrepancies like this get closed are with radical restructuring or significant legal change. For context- someone would have to make 100k for 10,000 years in order to reach 1billion dollars. Which is about 8k years BEFORE jesus. So when you see a disgusting old white man with 14billion.... THAT'S 140,000 YEARS of making 100k. Which is a cancer on society. And is clear that there is ZERO actual scarcity for not paying athletes (including dancers/cheerleaders). That scarcity is manufactured and is exploitation on a scale so large I don't know how we all still go to work tbh. This series also shared so much w/Cheer which is also predicated on a toxic maternal figure playing out all the beliefs she's internalized on a group of impressionable girls looking for structure and love they are often not getting at home. Everytime I see media like this the whole time my heart just hurts for unsupported parents, everyone who hasn't gotten therapy, and the life skills so one ever teaches.
