A Clarification: The bill we receive after we purchase something through our credit card is payable before a certain date. Now if you payoff all the amount before that date there is no markup or interest (Sood). The markup or Interest (Sood) is after the due date. So yes go ahead have a credit card or credit cards from a bank or different banks but make sure you payoff the bill before the due date. It has an advantage that if you don't have money and want to dine in, purchase grocery, cloth, kids necessities you can from credit card. Just keep in mind you have to payoff before the due date to avoid Markup or interest (Sood). PLEASE DO CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG! SO THAT I CAN CORRECT MY SELF.

Brother you are mistaken,, this is the problem here which most people dont understand. Actually the terms and conditions while making credit card with bank involves the interest condition which makes it Haram. Eventhough you dont have to pay interest and you return money to bank on time or before timr but you have already agreed with interest term. So be cautious. Always consult mustanid ulamas to resolve religious matters.

It is not the Interest we run up that is harmful about Credit Card, it is the amount of Debit we build up by taking advantage of the Credit the Bank offers us that has proved the undoing of many well-off salary-earning families. I have seen families which have believed that their Jobs will be theirs till they chucked them and had in truth bought against a year’s salary in advance on a large number of Credit Cards . Came the Covid in March 2020, Jobs disappeared in June and suicides began in August. I was in Bangkok when the Government devalued the Bhaat in 1966 to about half its former value against the Dollar. Thailand produces little and lives largely on Imports. Before devaluation the Bhaat was 22 to a Dollar Since the Rupee was 44 to a Dollar I found trips to Bangkok ideal time for buying things. After devaluation the Bhaat became 44 to a Dollar . It made no difference to me I paid what I would have paid in India but in Bangkok I had a wider choice of products. But devaluation made much difference to Thais. Two days after devaluation a prominent Architect who was doing well killed himself. He had been over-spending on his Credit Card because he did not imagine that the Bhaat would be cut to half its value.to cool the over-heated Economy.
