I remember in the 90s my gym teacher had us doing squat thrusts. I remembered the name and didn't know if it was actually a thing still that people do today. Glad it is. 🎉❤

The original burpee as invented by Royal Huddleston Burpee Sr is a 4 count movement: squat, kick feet back to plank, jump feet forward to squat, and stand up. The original squat thrust was simply the same without the stand up. There are variations to the burpee, but the original burpee and squat thrust were as previously described.

not the squat thrust i learned. it is a jumping jack and squat into a push up then popping up into a jumping jack. mandela effect?

Not too sure without seeing it - but that sounds more like a burpee to me... Either way, lots of variations I guess.

Looks similar other than the last step where you jump up rather than stand up.

Yes, basically the Burpee is more about cardio/POWER.

I dont believe in 'easy burpees' sorry. I think they are for intermediate to advanced
