What if my doctor didnt do any tests and just said i have asthma and gave me inhalers just because my family has history of asthma even tho i wasnt born with it and i developed breathing problems after i quit smoking

Hi Heather. I know this is a late reply. My grandmother and my aunt got their asthma on their 40s. I am also asthmatic since birth. I started using inhalers when I was still 19 and I am 29 now. Before that I was using a nebulizer. Palpitations and those others you said occurs because in some cases, inhalers depletes your Potassium. Potassium helps our heart to have a stable heart rate. To replenish your Potassium, just consume vegetables and fruits with potassium. My favorite fruit is bananas but I only limit to 2 pieces a day because it also has high sugar content. All the best.

@Charles Christian I am sorry to hear about the copd. Did you notice a worsening in symptoms which led to this diagnosis? Also, which stage copd, if you don't mind me asking?

What if i am 31 and i was diagnosed with asthma after i quit smoking and if i am not on any medication i have breathing problems every single night and on and off during the day is just worse at night

Last Second Medicine i did. He diagnosed me with asthma without doing any tests. Just based it on tjat i smoked and that my family has history of asthma. No tests of deficiencies or breathing tests no proof of what is wrong with me and the inhalers are giving me sharp heart pains amd flutters. I also read all the side effects of the chemicals in inhalers and they cause arythmias palpitations and premature contractions and death and heart attack. I am looking into black seed oil and cbd oil black seed oil is a bronchodialator. I also want to be tested for a magnesium deficiency.

@@heatherann4390 Helloni know this is late but I had the exact same issue as you. What really helped me was going on the Keto diet. Carbs and inflammation are intertwined and asthma is heavily related with inflammation. What ever carbs you do eat make sure are cruciferous vegetables like spinach, broccoli, asparagus etc...... my asthma is literally non existent and my doctor is actually amazed and has heard about the effects of carbohydrates and asthma. It's worth trying out, my sleep has been incredible since.

@@PracticalMedicine i had a critical asthma attack and two organs failure of this. Now I have serious condition with difficult breathing. My dad and brother never had something serious only me is there any reason. Also I don't smoke
