Excellent information. Like bhi press kiya. The only difference I think is the executive seating a much comfortable and spacious. We can easily walk around if we are tired of sitting,we can easily change your position when sitting on a executive chair.

My guess is that EC is used by people for whom their company pays the fare. I am saying this because in my previous company, I used to frequently travel between Chennai and Bangalore. We always used to book EC in Shatabdi Express and the company would reimburse.

Not really I mostly prefer EC whenever I am travelling with Family as it you feel more comfortable and less annoyed by people around you. Mostly I travel by Air or road, but railway is transforming and its way better then when i used to regularly travel by rail.

CC is 3 & 2 configuration rate btw Mumbai Madgaon is 1575and EC 2 & 2 configuration the rate is 3000 something. Just for 2&2 configuration (quality of services remain the same )they are charging very high fare.

Its justified bcz .... Less people will be board in ec due to less seats....but same space on train is filled.... therefore to make ec profitable they have to double the price
