You missed so many other sites but yeah i know you cant do them all. But showing the top contenders makes sense. In my experience Codeforces is the most raw in terms of competitive programming. - Very little help - Pure problem solving - Best coders in the world compete in - Most frequent contest

I think Topcoder is kinda expecting people to code in the applet.. I find the web interface completely unusable, which they get away with by permanently calling it "beta". The applet is problematic because you have to do some settings configurations to get the applet to run, dodging Java security

Waiting for how to start with competitive programming, coz everyone tells what to do and not how. for eg , do algorithms and data structures but which ones and how to study them as per need or study all and put them in use , so its a big dilemma sometimes

@code_report

I am going to start a series called "How to start with competitive programming" and also another video on CP resources. If you are new though, I would definitely start with HackerRank. Work on the Algorithm practice problems (www.hackerrank.com/domains/algorithms/) and the Data Structure practice problems (www.hackerrank.com/domains/data-structures/) with your language of choice (C++ is my recommendation). While you do this, start entering the HackerRank contests and always make sure the read the Editorials for all the problems you can't solve!

@@CyberRazeR 1. You claimed that you can create a new problem, then do it to prove your claim. 2. You realize there are millions of competitive programmers, right? Many of them have actual jobs in the industry, and know those tricks. Is that question even relevant to your claim?
