Silicone is dense. When they add silicone they usually put at least 10 grams inside the handle. Putting lead in the handle creates a buzz when you strike the ball. They use silicone to dampen shock and add weight without taking away the “feel” for which the player wants.

The main issue here, is that you are not comparing the same model... Novak Djokovic currently plays with a pro stock racquet called Head PT113B that is painted to look like the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro
@GeneralRock1143 жыл бұрын
I think he’s trying to show the difference between what Novak plays with and what he endorses. A lot of people go out and buy racquets thinking the pro actually uses that racquet.
@michaelp90614 жыл бұрын
Djokovic ‘s Radical MP painted like a speed is the greatest misrepresentation in today’s tennis industry. Two completely different racquets. Why Head try to lie to us ? Djokovic still uses a radical mp painted like a speed. His new PT346 radical MP has a 18x19 drill pattern which gives him more plow and pop.
@erickgasca57074 жыл бұрын
Michael P he uses a totally customized racquet specifically made for his swing style by a professional racquet customizer. Novaks racquet actually costs 300-400 to make for each racquet. You to can have a customized racquet to your specifications but you’d have to pay a premium. Head just endorses novak and has a paint job contract.

Is there anybody in the planet that actually believed that the pros are using the same retail racquets?! Come on, they are pros, of course the companies would make a special racquet just for them. They are the top players of the world. A Federer, a nadal or a Djokovic won’t just play with a random retail racquet. It’s obvious. I didn’t even expect the quality to be 1:1 as that if the pros.
