With the colouring, it is an oxide that is added to the cement mix prior to the cement being placed into the moulds. The ratio of oxide to cement powder is about 5% by weight. So, for 20 kg of cement powder, you would add 1 kg of oxide of the colour you want to achieve. There are a large range of colours available.
