So happy Lan has come back. I was sad when she had family troubles and was away from a long time. I was inspired and lived in Da Nang for 5 months last year learning so much Vietnamese. I actually find it easier to speak Northern Vietnamese. Ordering coconut coffee in south can result in coffee yoghurt or even asking if i want fruit with my coffee. But no problems when i order in in Ha Long, Hanoi and Nam Dinh Ninh Binh

It does seem, as a new Vietnamese language learner, that the northern accent is more say it as you see it than the southern. And something I've discovered from this channel is coffee with coconut milk sounds delicious!

Channel này tốt nhất học tập tiếng việt. Hơn nữa tốt nghe được tiếng anh (Mình là người Hàn)

Please answer this. When you say nóng it is similar to a "m" sound at the end, which sounds like "NOM" ?? Very good videos, thank you
@Tiengvietoi Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback and question. It may sound similar if we speak a bit fast and you can't see the mouth shape of the speaker. In case you can see the speaker's mouth, there's one way that would help you distinguish whether it ends in "ng" or "m" is that when saying "nóng", Lan puffs her cheeks to make "fish-mouth shape".

I hope that all is well. I learned a lot, but I am surprised that you puffed your cheeks on Nóng. I have a question for you. How would you pronounce the following sentence: Bạn thât là dặc biệt. Cảm ơn
