I find it so fascinating how each country's language has it's own flavour. Talking in a second language (or 3rd +!) is a commendable feat! One of my faves is the Croatian accent, it sounds really cute. I wonder how I'd sound to natives from other countries should I speak another language?

Löw is probably the worst example for a German accent you could have picked, because he has a strong local accent when he speaks German. That is like using Ozzy Osborne as an example for an England accent. If you want to see what a more general German accent looks like take Angela Merkel for a sufficient speaker's accent and Jürgen Klopp for someone who's been living in an English speaking environment for an extended period of time.

That's problem with most of people around world because English is unique in that you have to open mouth wide to pronounce that. That's why old people who can't speak English think English is ridiculous because English speaking peopel are doing crazy grimaces when they are speaking. :-D

in general yes, ofcourse people can speak accentless, but every country that has a main language have different accents/pronounciation for certain letters and that can slip in while speaking english. cause if ur language pronounces the g softly and in an english word it should be pronounce hard, u can slip in the soft g making u have an accent. like most asians who dont speak that much english will havee a hard time pronouncing the r cause in their language its i think pronounced like L so they havent really mastered the hard r, but like i said thats more general

Spanish dialect is really difficult to understand in comparison with my dialect ( Persian). Persian dialect just sounds funny and weird but it can be generally understood. But spanish and french dialects are really difficult to understand !!

my favorite foreign accents are german and russian. (i like them both for opposite reasons) i like how germans separate. every. word. some ppl think it sounds robotic and unnatural, but i think its cute. and russian accents tend to have a nice fluent flow to them. russian speakers tend to pick up on the flow of english better than most other foreigners. (though grammar can be a hurdle) something that surprised me in the comments is everyone saying french is their favorite. i always thought french sounds like someone trying to talk with a mouth full of marbles. its nice most of the time, but is often unintelligible.
