Once a person goes on the psych meds, they can't ever get off of them because the person will be crazier than they ever were. That happened to me. I was simply depressed before I went on pills and when I went off the pills, I hallucinated and had a psychotic break and was talking to myself. I had to go back on them and am now fine, but I can never stop or that is what hapens. Never start the pills, people. If you are depressed, get qualified counseling.

I totally disagree. I was misdiagnosed by a quack therapist & on tons of high doses of medications for 22 years. They destroyed my life & almost killed me. I sought help from an extremely qualified Neurologist who gave me a 5 hour long full psychological evaluation & low & behold his diagnosis was spot on. I haven't been on any medication the last 14 years & every year gets better & better. It takes a long time for the fog to lift, but it does. Another problem is there is barely any qualified mental health professionals anywhere even with BCBS. With all my experience I've learned that 80-95% of therapists out there are more messed up mentally than us people who seek help. They have No interest in helping people heal because it's big $$$$$$ for them & the pharmaceutical corporations to keep people unbalanced & keep them life long customers for the $$$$$. We are far more powerful than we are taught. Where there's a will, our Free Will there's a way. There's big money keeping people in the victim hood mentality. I'm glad you are doing better now though ❤️

Im so glad that as someone who regularly gets told and already knew as a kid that i could do good in that industry that i never did jt because i couldn't stand the idea of doing one on one talks helping my fellow man or women for money and with all these awful rules quotas, garbage you are forced to push on your "patients" what a dystopia, also i never understood how so many of them can talk to people without actually experiencing the pain and suffering, the drug use the childhood trauma of thier patients tho there are some genuinely good and talented people that just are blessed by god to be able to have empathy and compassion and dont have to suffer to understand i have both the suffering and empathy and i plan on opening a office in my own home or outside and handing out my card to like 5 to 10 people that i will do intense 1 on 1 sessions completely free and go above and beyond what any paid therapist could ever achieve i wish to become a friend to the people i help and willing to spend money i save up from trucking to get them what they need at times, hell if i did this with even 1 person it would be so worth it and fufilling to me. I currently am trying to just meet anyone i can help thru simply talking as i am now and want every interaction i have be a moment where i uplift or spread positively. God bless you it is good to hear of your success

@@timdillon4876 I know you are talking to the person who started the thread & not me, but Remember " The road to Hell is paved with good intentions" Just be a good friend to a friend. That sounds extremely dangerous to a supposed future client of yours & to yourself. I for one would never trust my psychological problems to anyone but a neurologist who has had extensive medical training on how the brain actually works. In fact I found out way after it was to late that a therapist & not even a psychiatrist can give anybody a proper psych evaluation that will hold up in court. They are sudo mental health" professionals 🙄" & not actual Doctors. I'd never trust anybody who didn't have all their issues diagnosed & solved first. I had zero mental health problems until I married a sociopath & my diagnosis clearly said that if I weren't in that environment anymore I'd be just fine. I wasn't able to get away those 40 years, but I out lived him😏 Funny that when I went for help in 91 none of my friends thought I had any mental issues except for my husband. They were right all along. In 91 I was the only one on medications & my friends were against it because they knew my covert abusive marriage situation. Now Everybody children & adults are on psych medications & I'm not😉 I found out many years later the therapist that misdiagnosed me was a Borderline. There is No such thing as a chemical imbalance. I feel especially sorry for children being put on meds IMO they have either lazy, narcissistic or unqualified parents. I've been researching cluster B's Psychopaths & Sociopaths all by myself since 2011 & I wish I had done that in HS because I never would have been easy prey for them. Once you thoroughly understand yourself the rest is easy. I can spot them right off the bat now😉😏 All mental illnesses are caused by trauma. It was Hell being an adult with nobody understanding or believing me. I can't imagine how extra traumatizing that would be for a child with no power to go against the adults. There is very good help on YT like Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk & Dr. Gabor Mate to name a couple. Their books & workbooks were very helpful. Knowing The Narcissist Ultra channel is very helpful & all his books to. Sam Vaken's (sorry I may have spelled his name wrong, but that's close enough. LoL) channel & books to. Good Luck & be very careful 🤞
@HomegrownAmerican8 ай бұрын
I agree with you that, "All mental illnesses are caused by trauma." I grew up with a psychopathic brother who tormented me my entire childhood. As far as therapists go, I agree a person should be very careful who they choose. I even had a best friend psychology student who was my therapist and she gave me life changing -Terrible- advice. You are lucky you were able to get off the meds. When I go off my meds, I get schizophrenia and I can never get off of them. I would never recommend drugs to anyone. Very intelligent ppl on the streets if you know how to read ppl but you're right (many diff types of homeless ppl). The more resourceful you are, the better the experience. Had I been abused a bit worse, had a bit less support, had a bit worse of a relationship with my family or started changing my karma a year or two later I could’ve been one of those crazy people on the streets. At a point of my life I could see myself going there, I had serious manic depression and a growing dope habit after a pretty abusive experience at a boarding school but luckily my family really came around and didn’t give me tough love but more importantly I started really changing my karma around this time. It took years to turn around but today I have the dope mostly under control(haven’t relapsed in awhile but it’s still a day at a time), I’m not completely stable but can still live a normal life and most importantly today I can genuinely say I’m at least a decent person. I’m not perfect but now I feel like I’m on the right path and have a lot to repay considering god/the universe has gave me many many second chances

We have given more money to Israel over the past 3 decades every year than any other country. They use our tax dollars to provide their citizens with free healthcare and college. The same politicians that advocate that money for them, says it would be detrimental for the citizens of the US to have those things. When I lived in Phoenix kid in my apartment complex broke his arm, his wrist look like a macaroni noodle. They didn’t call 911 or want to go to the hospital because they were undocumented. What’s going on in places like NYC is people like the governor of Texas are shipping people who illegally crossed the border to NYC for political show, then the mayor of NYC gets put on the spot and has to accommodate immigrants to show face to his constituents. Mean while like any situation involving immigrants they get used as pawns by the rich and powerful. If you think people who walked a couple thousands miles to flee poverty and violence are the bad guys in the situation and the business people and politicians that are vilifying them or using them to make themselves seem like kind compassionate empathetic people I don’t know what to tell you, there’s a bridge in New York the two major political parties want to sell you.
