What is the reason why the size of control valve is lesser than the pipe line size ( why are we reducing the line size using reducers) ?

1.If the available size of the valve is lesser in size as compare to pipeline Size then we reduced the pipeline size so that the Pipeline OD and Valve OD is same to proper fittings. 2.If Lesser Valve Size is used with bigger pipeline Size then there is not much requirement of Flow/Pressure etc. That's why we are using smaller size Valve.
