I’m obsessed with tea and my favorite will probably always be Chinese longjing (dragon well) but I’ve been recently drinking more Japanese tea and enjoying it a lot, gyokuro is my favorite.

The mineral composition, firing temperatures and shapes/sizes are all different, and the clays all have a variety of effects on shaping the taste of tea

Clay also keeps the water warmer for longer due to its thermal mass.

Three fingers on each side of the teapot and one on the top lid... I'm two fingers short!

My loose tea come from china, it's the tea forte boxes set, my first time using these teas,

The Houhin looks similar to the chinese Gaiwan.

A clay tea pot can break if water is too hot?

Only if faulty, a quality clay teapot can tolerate heat very well

That’s where I’m going this year for my first time I wasn’t meant to go once but I couldn’t because of the floods then a second time I couldn’t because of the coronavirus, but I’m finally going this year with my family in September and I told my boyfriend, I will take him next time Cause this was talking about planned before I met him and then I was so lucky. My sister booked the thing booked the tickets for Japan and he’s upset. I’m not taking him. I said I will take him next time. I’m going to Tokyo and Osaka.
