I’m obsessed with tea and my favorite will probably always be Chinese longjing (dragon well) but I’ve been recently drinking more Japanese tea and enjoying it a lot, gyokuro is my favorite.

The mineral composition, firing temperatures and shapes/sizes are all different, and the clays all have a variety of effects on shaping the taste of tea

Clay also keeps the water warmer for longer due to its thermal mass.

Only if faulty, a quality clay teapot can tolerate heat very well

That’s where I’m going this year for my first time I wasn’t meant to go once but I couldn’t because of the floods then a second time I couldn’t because of the coronavirus, but I’m finally going this year with my family in September and I told my boyfriend, I will take him next time Cause this was talking about planned before I met him and then I was so lucky. My sister booked the thing booked the tickets for Japan and he’s upset. I’m not taking him. I said I will take him next time. I’m going to Tokyo and Osaka.
