Galaxy Blaukluger is one of the prime decks to highlight the impact of the differences between Zero and paper Vanguard to me. In the paper game, it forced your opponent to make difficult decisions over and over every turn. Couldn't let Blaukluger hit, because then you just get a free card that might wind up being a PG added directly to hand for no cost. Can't let Stern hit, otherwise they might immediately die to an errant crit. Can't let ANYTHING hit once Galaxy hits the board, or they might die. The whole deck was a catch 22 that whittled the opponent down over and over, and I really liked how grindy it was. With guarding being nonexistent, however, it basically just becomes... burst finish.dek, which to me is far less satisfying.

The deck did turn every one of its fights into a battle of attrition, which did turn me off at times. It was still a fun deck to pilot (pun intended), but it did get annoying at times because you're opponent was essentially in charge of what you were allowed to do. You had little control over the flow of the game, and would usually turn games into: draw -> swing -> pass. Something I like about VG Zero is that it does a good job in taking all those decks that focused on on-hit skills and making them fun, because now YOU'RE THE ONE IN CONTROL. Definitely found it very satistifying when my stern's attack would go off and my opponent just went from 2 to 5 in a single turn. But of course results may vary.

@@Dvids2020 There are some times where I've had a lot of fun with Zero. Unsurprisingly to the username, I think the peak of it was when I was using Fang of Light, Garmore to smash my way through the ladder. Old cards that were wonkily designed in the paper game getting nice little glow-ups in Zero is always a fun time -- Incandescent Lion is another huge one, even if it pushed my boy Great Silver Wolf to the wayside. Currently enjoying Jewel Knights as a result. ... Really hoping Gancelot Zenith does my memory proud, though, that was one of my favorite decks to play in tournament.

I now believe on double heal trigger, before in Zero after I got wreck by Glory Maelstrom Limit break 2 critical. I got 2 heal trigger on row that saved me. Leon already used up all his 4 PG on guarding against my descendants, and 2 other rear guard. Guess who has the better wind, Leon. 😂

Thanks, I bought Super Deck Blau and it has been my best deck in rank but with this it is now even more powerful. I am a free to play player so you know it got it´s limits and I am still learning how to play Vanguard, plenty of things don´t make sense to me like Legion but I am getting the hang of it.

My first cards in vanguard was from the galaxy blaukluger set. I only had those 5 booster pack cards until I joined the TCG in 2016. The only blaukluger I got was Jupiter blaukluger.

I’ve seen people play toolkit boy, but it needs to be behind vanguard which immediately puts it into conflict with Morgenrot (which is like probably the best starter in the game).

Just got a 10 win streak using this decklist: G4 X2 Vic-ten (the only G4 necessary) X4 Victoplasma (in case you don’t get the right rgs for the BR combo which u mostly do) G3 X3 Galaxy Blaukluger X4 Mond Blaukluger X2 Yamatano Drake (alternative in case u don’t hv Golden Anglet for final turn BR push) X4 Heal Guard G2 X4 Golden Anglet (the most important piece for final turn break ride combo) X4 Blaukluger X4 Jupiter Blaukluger X1 Mars Blaukluger G1 X4 Blau PGs (can be searched by morgenrot) X4 Final Wrench (This is better than Dancing Wolf) X3 Arashid (stride fodder) X2 Claydoll Mechanic (counter charger)
