New OEM bushings with new OEM nuts & bolts it's a must! Torque to specs + 90° turn on each bolt.

I have a question. I had my bushing replaced by a amateur mechanic apparently on my bmw f10. He hammered the bushing in for almost 2 hours. And the new bushing now looks even worse than how my old was. It’s all broken around and not even completely in. But according to him, it didn’t matter. As long as the rubber around the middle is fine. It’s all good. Haha. Guess I need to replace it again now huh

Yeah you need to do this job again correctly and properly. Also with original OEM parts, new bolts and nuts as these are one time use, don't go cheap as those parts will not last and you will be back to square one! Torqued to specs + 90° turn on each bolt. I did all the diff bushings and the driveshaft's flex discs and center bearing. About a week of work using all proper tools and done professionally by myself. Did the differential, driveshaft and engine mounts which i went to hell and back working on them! 😂

Ebay, get the VEVOR brand 27pc set. Does the main big bushing and the 2 small diff bushings. Need some boxed end wrenches size 18mm, 19mm & 21mm. It gets cramped in there but lots of patience. I did all diff bushings, torqued to specs + 90° turn on each bolt. and also did the flex disc and center bearing on the driveshaft! I went to hell and back and took a few days to finish. If I didn't have the right tools it wouldn't have been impossible to complete this job!
