Being a Honda CB650R owner and giving the Ducati Scrambler a good look before hand, its just my opinion, but the Honda is the more complete all-rounder usable bike. The Ducati is a great weekend bike, the Honda is the bike you would happily use everyday.

Really good video, I Own a 2020 Ducati scrambler Dark, easy to ride not intimidating for a new rider, lots of fun, I have the Termignoni pipe and lower handle bars and up rated Ktech suspension which transforms the ride quality.

Thanks for this comparison. This is exactly the video I was after. I own the Honda CB650r but I have always had a thing for the Scrambler and I am considering getting that next. The Honda is definitely tameable on low revs but I also think depending on how you are sat on the bike it can make a big difference to throttle control. I am 5’11” and sitting on the Ducati made me feel a lot more comfortable. Going to test ride it later so will find out exactly how it is. The Honda is the first bike I bought after passing my full A license in UK.

Did you change to the ducati? I’m actually thinking of trading the other way, from the ducati to the Honda. The ducati engine gets really hot. I’m in a tropical climate, so that’s a big negative. What I’m wondering is if the Honda is better at lane splitting and squeezing between cars that are somewhat close together.

Thank you for the great video comparison. I'm looking for a new beginner bike and you comparison is just what i was looking for. As a beginner I find gear indicator being extremely useful. Honda has it but Ducati does not.

I saw the EnglishBikerDan review of the CB650R 2021 model and the model before. He said his pre-2021 model had an uncomfortable seat. the new model was slightly better. ... Yet every other review of the CB650R said it was a comfortable bike.

bagyooo I’d go with the Honda on longer rides without a windshield. If you’re going to tour on the Ducati it will need a windshield, otherwise you’ll be like a parachute in the wind at high speeds.

How much will windshield eliminate wind on the chest?

@@JC-vz5bz Just rode my Ducati thru the mountains in New Mexico.The windshield makes the difference.Also if your gonna do distance on the Ducati it can use a bit wider seat and I geared mine up with a smaller rear sprocket and that helps on the hiway.

I owned cb1000r and now scrambler 1100 and 800.Ducati has more character over japanese bikes. They are much more fun,light,nimble...etc Honda arr so so smooth ____>>>> bit boring

Below 4000 rpm that bike is a breeze. It doesn’t get going until the upper revs.

There is no such a thing as beginners bike. You can kill yourself even on a scooter if you don't know how to ride and there isn't a thing between the ears. So yes, I recommend this bike up to 200+ bhp bikes to beginners.

Rhyme Malanum i think the ducati scrambler has hotter on legs considering it is air cooled. Im no expert just my opinion.
