It wasn’t very pleasant, I’m an audiophile and listening on KZbin is less quality than base streaming audio, and to hear hifi tracks properly, you need high end headphones and an amp and dac, that being said, they weren’t my cup of tea, I listen to lossless tracks of tons of acapella groups and they sound better than this, there is an overwhelming hiss on this live recording.

Dickie Freeman and George Younce in the same room, two of the best gospel basses ever to sing the Lords music. Awesome!!! Just an addendum: all of these wonderful men are now home with the Lord. Willie Richardson (the excitable one that George Younce got such a kick out of) passed a few years after this was recorded. James S. Hill (the spokesman) followed in 2000, then Wilson Waters (in the middle) in 2005, bass extraordinaire Isaac "Dickie" Freeman in 2012 and Robert Hamlett in 2016. We continue to be blessed by their music through these videos, and the Fairfield Four legacy continues with the current lineup, now in their 97th year (founded in 1921) of singing for the Lord.

+Ella Presley Andrae Crouch, Cece Winans, Wintley Phipps, Angela Primm, Jesse Dixon, Larnelle Harris, Babbie Mason, Doris Akers, and many others have performed on the Gaither videos. Bill Gaither has tried very hard, more than anyone in the Christian music business, to introduce different genres to his audiences. Of course, his base audience and personal roots are Southern Gospel, so naturally he has had more SG artists on his videos. But he's also introduced many contemporary, country and western, black gospel, and bluegrass artists to a completely different fan base, and in many cases to a younger generation that had never heard of some of these performers.
