Love it!!! Got so lucky to see them WAY back in 92-93 - I was 15/16 years old - my Pops came with me to some bar/club they were playing, we'd JUST moved out to Arizona.... The bouncer let me in after my Pops talked to him for a few minutes, lol. It was still one of the dopest hip hop shows I've seen. They only had their first record out at that time - I think Blowout Comb came in '94 sometime. They had a FULL Jazz band with them live for the entire show. Drummer, upright bass, horns, it was soooooooooooo fresh - will NEVER forget that. I got extremely lucky one last time a few years back - Out of nowhere it seemed I just happened to see an ad for them coming thru town playing at a local club down in Tempe, AZ..... needless to say, went down there and it was ALL THREE of them (I'd read some articles etc around that time or shortly after, that Ladybug had parted with the group again - I suppose it was just pure luck that I got to catch them again during this tour where the 3 of them were back together again) up close and personal , no security or barrier up front and nothing but positive vibes from everyone in the crowd. Going to see any of these groups from the Golden Age of hip hop is the same I've come to find out. A good part of it is because "most" of the crowd is generally in the same age range, give or take a few years.... Beyond that, it's just a chance for every single person there to re-live those moments from their childhood, or young adult period of their lives.... all positive vibes... no bullshit fighting, or dumb ass people. Everyone just so chill and for those couple hours you're almost in a time bubble.... it's a trip man.. love every single minute of it. A+++++++ for sharing this video BoogieNSoul - Thank you my dude!

great story. my friends that were more into the hardcore hip hop of the time (jeru, black moon, gangstarr) could NOT understand why i liked these guys. but i guess you either got it...or you didn't. anyway i wish they came up to my country (canada) back in the day.

Look at Lady Bug Mecca with a camouflage fatigue jacket and a skully on. I really miss when us girls could dress like that without our sexuality being questioned. It gave guys a opportunity to use their imagination. Dag, these days are long gone. What a shame!!!!!

iluvmyboba i think its a shame now that girls want to dress in very revealing clothing when if anything i think ladybug is more beautiful then half the girls now

iluvmyboba *white women are stereotyping beautiful black women by doing some of the messed up stuff like lip injections while there are plenty of black women who have natural beautiful lips. it makes black women look like they have self hate. when in reality white women are the ones with self hate

Just too damn bad [illuminati] "gangsta rap" ruined these types of bands for good! What a shame! DaLa Soul is another great band ruined as well, along with many others. All of these bands play some great music that is so underrated!
