Hi Dr. S, Thanks for lecture. Please is it outside the syllabus to cover how bile drains into gallbladder for storage? Please is my understanding that bile drains directly from liver into main duct underway to duodenum correct?
@PhysiologyforStudents4 жыл бұрын
Hello Milko. Bile drains via the sinusoids in the liver to the bile ducts. The major bile ducts from the liver are the right and left hepatic ducts (from the right and left sides of the liver respectively) which combine with the cystic duct (from the gallbladder) to form the common bile duct. The common bile duct drains into the duodenum. When there is excess bile, it will travel back up the cystic duct to the gallbladder to be stored. Does that help?

That's where you are getting problems isn't it digestive enzymes you are getting acidic refluxes & nausea quite often fell as if half of your digested food is coming out isn't it so you don't eat basically it's essential to test your bicarbonates & enzymes apart from liver
