Saw them live at my cousins wedding earlier this month, these guys are funky as fuck, the singer is her husbands little brother which was a surprise ,I thought they were just a hired band at first.he sounds like a real soul brotha too it kind of threw me off when he started singing haha skilled and blessed voice ,love the real live brass instrument element they have going on. It’s before it’s time and way after it’s time at the same time..singer was a good front man too and helped liven up the reception quite well, glad I got to be there for one of their more private shows.. they made me wish I was doing more with myself musically, I play around with instruments a little bit and have it in me to make some good music if I am consistent and stay more devoted,but I’m not where id like to be.. i think it would be a lot easier and more fun to be surrounded by friends like these rather than some of the duds I grew up around in my ghetto ass hometown. diggin dirt I am a fan now ,you guys have motivated me to get back into jamming more,even if I have to do it solo. I envy real musicians like this.. and I need to step it up and rise above this half ass musician I’ve been stuck at being ,I am stagnant and need to find a way to progress again.
