Shawn Dub is a DJ & record collector from Long Beach, CA who has resided in Brooklyn NY for over a decade. He shares time between working at the Brooklyn-based record shop Human Head Records & DJing in the NY club scene. He currently holds down a residency at Public Records called Sol Follow and is one-half of the notorious Records Before Rent show on the Lot Radio in the US.

According to ffmpeg, it's around −23 LUFS¹ (recommended loudness for broadcasting on radio, TV, etc.). Most audio on KZbin (and the internet in general) appears to be louder than that, somewhere between −16 and −12 LUFS. The problem is that it's not regulated in any way and every uploader does what they think is right. Maybe −16 LUFS could be a good middle ground. 1) Please let me know if my readings are wrong.

@@freshprinceklassen yep. Levels are fine. If you want hear levels being off check HOR. They play fruity loops from their friends with no mastering or mixing next to pumped up over limited beatport tracks. It's funny ;)
