Now that is some seriously thick clam chowder! Just the way i like it! My son has a recipe where he uses about a 1/4 cup of herb infused vodka that he makes. It has fresh rosemary, thyme, parsley and a couple cloves of garlic, sliced in half. He makes this several days ahead and puts it in his fridge and it will keep forever.

PK, I caught my first Dungeness crab the other day! I want to personally thank you for your videos on the matter. I heard about dungeness crabbing 30 years ago and have been planning to catch them ever since. I’m 55 and feel like a little kid when I pull a big crab up. I’m in Brookings for the next week and then will make my way up the coast for the next month. Is there a better area to rake for clams this time of year. Thank you again for all the information you put out.

Something I am noticing as you create these videos is that you do not merely demonstrate what you know in a hurried manner. I see that you are thinking of the perspective of the viewer as they virtually watch through the camera lens. You also seem to be considering what the viewer does not know as you demonstrate and explain. In my opinion, you are creating great content with these videos. In addition to the free content you are providing on KZbin, you might want to consider organizing this stuff into informational products and selling it as training courses. Even though you are sharing it for free, there are people who will still buy it if it is packaged conveniently and marketed effectively. Thank you for what you are doing. I am inspired.

A bit skeptical here. Just wondering why he had to go so far out when looking for the clams. A lot of touching his chest where the bag is strapped to him when his back is toward camera and as for the third clam you don’t see the clam come out on the rake until after he turns around. Just my opinion and I’m entitled to it. The camera also turned on and off a few times. I’m just suspicious that’s all.
