It sure is! You never know what you’ll find. Not as great a find as the one you and I dug, but still pretty nice.

Great find this week. It always amazes me how nature layers the rocks.

Hi, that was a good one. You looked like a warthog digging out a burrow there! A few observations. 1. Squareish ceiling suggests at least some digging out or shapeing with a pick. 2. At 15.38 That rail was the cheaper strap rail, usually a 2X4 piece of wood with a steel strap nailed on top. 3. The spikes I saw were all round so not super old. 4. At 17.30, the flat concrete like surface. Faults in rock can be even smoother than that, its probably natural. Anyway, nice adventure. Cheers Daniel.

Quick question🤔...have you ever thought of maybe taking some garden ribbons to mark at the outside of the mines you've explored. Mrs 49er: at time stamp 17:25 on your camera, I think there's the beginning of flow stones on the wall, Nick noted moisture where are now...
@Miner49er1
@Miner49er1 Жыл бұрын
For what purpose? I do carry marking tape to help mark paths in extensive mines, but not to mark the outside.

Not the minor 49er Groundhog! Not the minor 49er squirrel! It's got to be the minor 49er meerkat! Try covering Mr Fuzzy with a cut out orange sack! I noticed you were working on a book! Wow! That was totally crazy! That was a massive Shaft!

The book is about a young man practicing magic and who has to face a destiny he doesn’t want to accept. This is a very short snippet, but I’ll definitely give more as we get closer to a publication date. Thanks for your interest!

So I'm new to your channel but if there is a fence blocking off a filled-in mine entrance for safety is this private land isn't this considered breaking and entering into private property which has been sealed off. And here you have a video of you doing it so the owners of the fence ever find this video would that get you in trouble I'm not saying this to happen I'm just curious
@Miner49er1
@Miner49er1 Жыл бұрын
Good question. Short answer is no. Unless there is a no trespassing sign, it is not illegal. These fences are usually put there by the BLM to keep people safe; it was part of an initiative a few years ago.

You don’t think behind that plaster/concrete LF there could be something hidden behind that wall? Be a great place to hide a bunch of treasure. If it is and if you go get it I hope you cut me in. Just a little. Good luck
