Those two side/angled footings were pretty routine but going across that opening looked like a real pain. Dragging back and angling as you did it is no fun. @e.l.construction59455 жыл бұрын
Elite Earthworks LLC they are back breakers for sure, but they are worth a lot of money, and if he’s the only game in town, then he’s making a killin

E.L. Construction I know he has enough of them forms to do a 100,000 sq ft building with 16’ high walls. He did that last year and it was one pour
@e.l.construction59455 жыл бұрын
Elite Earthworks LLC he probably leases them out all over the state, last time I used them we did a 8’ stem wall on a 75x250 building and I was pretty much sick of them when we got done. That’s why I’m sold on the ICF blocks now

So forgive the silly question from the Florida boy, but what's a frost footing for?
@mightymoeexcavating7545 жыл бұрын
If it is not dug in to the ground the frost will get under it and heave it up,Our frost depth is 4ft min in Cambridge Ontario Canada
@eliteearthworksllc5 жыл бұрын
Sandy I think it’s just a footing but the concrete guy calls them frost footings so I guess it’s a thing. I’m not really sure 🤣🤷🏼♂️

@@mightymoeexcavating754 Ah. That makes sense. That's one of those considerations we just don't have to take into account down here.
@cookiesservices45525 жыл бұрын
Sandy here in NY the frost moves our bridges, roads and pretty much every thing it comes in contact with. In the winter they have to close the train tracks going through the mountains due to the frost our frost footings are about the same as Mighty Moes. Water service are buried a min of three feet and five or six feet under driveways
