I got to run an E10 recently and couldn't believe how productive it was. I've used an E26 a lot and always thought the E10's were toys. I can't wait to find a good deal on one once the big hat no cattle guys start panic selling their stuff here in the future.

I used the ripper today on some shale rock on a trail I’m building. Should have a video up soon. Thanks for watching and for your comment!

Looks like it works for fruit trees and smaller stuff in a person's yard like that, and sure beats the manual alternative. Problem is that the machine can barely lift a small stump loaded with dirt even if it was fully root ripped loose. Inexpensive small stump solution. Seems to do less yard damage than a bucket.

All true but you’d be surprised at the huge stumps I’ve moved and loaded with it by using the blade and bucket. Big stumps can be dug but it takes a much longer time and a huge hole.

Nice video? How’s this do digging in rockier soil? Bouncing back between this and an E20. We’re a small landscaping business here in Southern California. Would like to get one if these small excavators to use in tandem with our S70 skid. Thanks

If I had a do over I’d get the E20. The E10 lacks power for roots etc. Also lack of reach makes it impossible to load trailers. There is no thumb option either. The only advantage to the E10 is very tight spaces. I got it to build single track trails as narrow as possible. Even for that I wish I had the E20.

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated

Could you use this machine to dig out bamboo roots?
@arlingtonguy54 Жыл бұрын
I’ve not tried but don’t see why not

I got an E20 to do just that but the E10 will work with patience. The ripper tooth should really help. Or a very narrow bucket. The roots are right under the ground but incredibly tough.

Good video! Question. What is the length of that ripper tooth from the center line of the upper pin to the tip of the tooth?
@arlingtonguy54 Жыл бұрын
It’s out on a job now so can’t measure exactly. I’d say it’s about 24”

Nice job how long did each stump take ?
@arlingtonguy542 жыл бұрын
Maybe 30 minutes? I’ve dug bigger ones since that took an hour. Not bad for such a small machine

I would call that a success.

Hi. What make is the hydraulic claw attachment?
@arlingtonguy54 Жыл бұрын
I don’t remember but it was a kit that I had to heavily modify to make it work. I have a video on it if you go to my channel explaining.

I want one. But a used one so I can afford it But I’m not sure if they’re a good buy used

It’s been a reliable machine so probably well built. I’m sure a machine with under 2000 hours would cost around $10K. I’d avoid rentals for sale though.
