I was not expecting that part of the driveway to be so difficult, the start was so easy. You’ve got lots of work to do. Clay!

I like the rock part better than the "CLAY" LOL. Impressive work taking a path and turning it into a road that looks drivable before graveling.

Looks amazing and I accidentally watched the next video before this one. This would be a million dollar road contract for a major excavating company if it was a township or state job in our area.

Loving the new sound quality. It's playing out of both ears and is pretty much perfect. I can hear you very well and can still hear the machine as well, which I like especially when you are crunching stuff up with the forestry head. Please don't ever feel like you are "forcing" us to watch stuff...that's what I personally am here for. I can literally watch you for hours! I love your attitude and I love hearing you explain how and why you do things. I have learned something on each and every video you have put out. Today I learned about CLAY!

Hey Todd, I’d like to see more in cab video. Especially inside the truck if you can somehow see the road and shifting gears with plenty of turbo sounds. That’s just me. Keep it up, love the channel

Great video! How do you plan on stabilizing the upper side of the driveway. That looks like a lot more that a 2:1 slope? Isn't it going to wash out during the first hard rain?

CLAY! Looking forward to seeing the rest of this one. I want to hear more about the cloth - I'm over in Jonathan Creek/MaggieValley/Waynesville area, the soil I have here on my ridge is similar, doesn't dry well and stays squishy. Has a lot of sand and fines in it, more than a thick clay. I want to see how you "thicken it up". I don't use cloth, I usually put down 3/4 gravel and let that sink in until it makes a solid base to build on. I'm curious if I'm doing it all wrong.

You should consider Numbering your video's when a project\job requires several consecutive vids to complete ! It helps the viewers so they can move from video to video in the proper sequence !!!

Great video! I’m curious, when you’re starting a job like that, are you scraping off the top soil first and set aside before you start using hillside material as a base for the driveway?

What's your plan to divert water off the uphill slope on the hill cut. It would seem to me the hydraulic tilt bucket would cut a nice trench there to serve drainage.

I do not understand the theory of placing geo-fabric under gravel base. Seems to me the same money would be better spent on adding aggregate. Weeds on low traffic driveways are going to happen regardless, as drifting soil eventually contaminates aggregate from the top down.
