I remember when I first watched this as a kid I was so terrified by Daemon, I absolutely didn't understand the levels or the alliances within digimon, now looking at it knowing Daemon is the most powerful in this scene, or in this series, I'm totally a fan now, Daemon is so above and beyond them all he doesn't have to break any sweat at all dealing with the 3 jogress and the weak myotismon side

To befaor,that's cause most of the time he is in highly populated areas and can't unleash his full arsenal without Canaveral damage. We see in later shows that he can easily be the most destructive out of the Megas if he bothered to use his best weapon.

Daemon is one of the strongest members of the Seven Demon Lords, who are rivaled only by Digimon comparable to the Royal Knights, Imperialdramon Fighter Mode had trouble with BlackWarGreymon, he's not beating Daemon.

I know there are fans that complain about the Daemon Arc because they think it's pointless & goes nowhere but I'm not one of them. I honestly enjoyed this arc because it has some of the better character moments of the 02 series. Yes, Daemon is wasted but more of strike against the writers involved than the series itself. Plus not everything that happens has to be part of the main villain's plan. If anything, it just made the story more interesting.

I'll be honest I really don't dislike the arc, Daemon and his team were legitimately the most threatening things throughout all of 02 Adventure to the point even one of his henchmen in SkullSatamon completely dominated all of the Digi-Destined at the same time. I do wish he'd been given a proper arc though since I find it funny he just shows up, fucks everyone up and then decided to call it a day because he's too rich for this crap. XD

This season's had head writers in conflict over how the series was supposed to go. That is why we had ideas introduced and dropped so quickly. What I feel should have happened is that Daemon decides he doesn't need Ken and kidnaps the rest of the kids despite the efforts to stop him, and he ends up as the final boss of the series.

No he would have fodderised all normal mega including imperialdramon. You need to be an exceptional mega like ulforceveedramon to compete. Quality counts, not quantity. To give you an example, an exceptional mega like dukemon foderrised the four digidestined megas in savers and only another exceptional mega like sleipmon could stalemate him.

​@@ironchariot601i think the Dukemon in Savers is supposed to be a veteran Royal Knight, that's why he's so effective, it's not that the Savers megas were hopeless, how I see it is that Dukemon has been RY for too long and is a vet or perhaps even unnamed leader of the group, since he was perhaps the strongest even among other RY in Savers. The Crusadermon and Duftmon in Savers would be the newer members at that point since they were defeated rather fast, and you would notice that the RY in Savers are not exactly a complete RY group, to me combat experience could be the factor here. I've seen people argue that the Dukemon in Savers and that in Tamers would be different at their power levels, but I don't think so, i think they're both legit Dukemon in terms of the physical makeup, but the Dukemon in Savers would be the veteran Dukemon and the Tamer's Dukemon would be a newly evolved Dukemon, if they were to fight each other of course the vet would have won, so it all would reasonably depend on the experience level when it comes to mega digimon in anime

@@adrianobones7277 I don't think Lucemon FM is perfect/ultimate, in Japanese he's called beyond mega digimon, the wiki def got it wrong Also metal Etemon is actually very strong, he's basically an equal to puppet/pinocchiomon, his body got damaged by Zudomon boomerang because of his arrogance and he didn't think he needed to duck, thus giving Saberleomon the chance to finish him. And Blackwargraymon as a mega is also formidable, it took Wargraymon and imperialdramon to defeat him

I don't think VenomVamdemon can do anything against him, I remind you that he lost to WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon when they were still completely inexperienced, in the next episode these two couldn't take even a single "Trump Sword" from Piedmon.😄 This showed that VenomVamdemon wasn't really powerful at all, he only looked that way because WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon were actually quite weak at the time they fought him, later they got a LOT stronger thanks to an experience. Dark Masters would do a bit better than VenomVamdemon (especially Piedmon) but I don't think they would be really enough either. I mean Imperialdramon FM is still soundly stronger than any of them but he got absolutely humiliated by Daemon. And about BelialVamdemon: he did get a massive power up when he absorbed all the darkness from the Digital World. If it's this BelialVamdemon then it may be a good match, base BelialVamdemon could lose definitely.

@@csmith3248 I think Daemon would still beat all the Dark Masters even at once unless Piedmon gets a lucky hit with his keychain trick. MetalSeadramon could probably tank a few hits because of his Chrome Digizoid armour, but I'd see him getting weared eventually. He also has ranged attack but I doubt it would hurt Daemon. And his flying doesn't help that much because Daemon could fly as well. Machinedramon would likely take a few hits as well, but the problem is that he's apparently only made of normal metal so MetalSeadramon is actually the most durable member of the Dark Masters. Machinedramon is physically the strongest DM but he's also the slowest & only one who can't fly so he likely still can't do too well. Puppetmon & Piedmon would get trashed if they try to fight physically, Puppetmon's strings may work a bit though but given MetalEtemon was eventually able to break them, I would guess they would still fail vs Daemon. And Puppetmon isn't tanking anything from Daemon. Piedmon may still take a couple of hits since although he had lowish durability, he still had high tenacity, but he's not matching him with brute force. Piedmon broke WarGreymon's armour though but WarGreymon was definitely a lot weaker than Daemon at the time. So I would still believe that he would beat them even in 1v4 (maybe with some difficulties) unless we're thinking some off chance where Piedmon could turn him into the keychain. And Holy Beasts might do even worse because they still lost vs Dark Masters, they have less hax abilities, and their massive size would make them basically giant targets. Meaning it would be a lot easier to hit them. However if you put Apocalymon here as well then that's an another story. Then they'd probably have enough force to put him down. Huanglongmon isn't that clear case though given Lucemon's Rookie form was able to beat him though.

I don't get why Shakkoumon is even neccessary at this point. Magnaangemon should have an easier time taking out evil digimon. He beat Piedmon (well Wgmon and Mgarurumon did but he got the kill) and almost beat Blackwargreymon if not for the destiny stone being his weakness at the time.
