Same here, especially considering Daemon really got to shine in the V-Tamer 01 manga where he was the main villain, and even came back epically when he returned in his Super Ultimate/Ultra Level form after consuming Arcadiamon from the inside.

The dark ocean was never ment to be an actual plot point it was just meant to be a one off reference to Cthulhu. It was another writer who wanted to make it a plot point later on and used it to flush out Ken backstory

@@haiku230 There really not as it's just a reference to lovecraft and his work the cthulhu mythos. Dagomon is basically just Cthulhu taking a different from because of the digital world (while using the name of a different mythos creature). This is even confirmed more with the Japanese version as it starts off with a quote from the Call of Cthulhu in digicode, which says "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming". The Japanese name for the episode is The Call of Dagomon to further the references. The town by the black ocean is called Innsmouth in the Japanese version, which is a location from the Mythos, and the ture from of the Scubamon/Hangyomon are Deep ones a race of fish people who rape humans to create hybrids and increase there numbers. That's actually what they wanted to do with kari in the sub

(Also because the german dub took the japanese original very seriously when being faithful to the script, which was a standard back then until the mid 2000s happened and destroyed the high standard it had for the anime community.)

Even Daemon in robe form is this invincible, they all got a sneak peek including malomyotismon, and Daemon was sent off to the dark ocean I guess partly because his other three perfect/ultimate demon lord friends had been defeated, he saw there's no point since he gave his friends a chance but they all perished. If he were to wanna stay, nothing could've stopped him unless maybe if they all are able to mega digivolve

If you want to know how op the demon lords are, beezlemon is one of the weakest and can still match dukemon for a while. Dukemon is among the highest tier royal knight and easily beat the four digidestined megas in savers.

Well Tamers Dukemon wasn't RK so no, we don't know if Tamers Beelzebumon would be able to match for example Savers Dukemon, personally I would say no. Considering that ShineGreymon Burst Mode defeated Belphemon Rage Mode (granted he still survived some hits from him earlier) which is often placed above Beelzebumon, and he was still weaker than RK Dukemon. Demon Lords are still OP though but Lucemon FM is the one who usually raises them up considerably. And apparently Leviamon, who I heard is around Examon's level in terms of strength.

Daemon is a Level above the Level above Of A Mega. Seraphimon was a Mega Level Digimon. One of which later fell into the Dark Ocean/Area/Abyss and Became ShadowSeraphimon. ShadowSeraphimon is a Digimon that has Transcended above the Mega Level. And then, If ShadowSeraphimon was Left in the State he's in, He will Eventually Descend To Daemon. So it goes like this is evolution line; Seraphimon (Mega Level) -> ShadowSeraphimon (Above The Mega Level) -> Daemon [Mantled] (Level above the Level above Of A Mega). There is also a Daemon Un-Mantled version, which is Daemon real form of power.

@@adrianobones7277 can't really say much about the vanilla (cloaked or not,) vanilla demon just curb stomp the 02 kids and that's that. The Digimon References book didn't specify how strong he is as the Vanilla as well. We only saw his true power only in SU form as he fought Ulforceveedramon. And the x only mere speculation because DRB describe how broken he is. So I can't really comment whether he can beat Kaiser and Magna, since they at least at the Weaker RK Tier. But if you wanna talk about the bigger scale of lore, the SGDL are basically and Omnipotent being who sents their proxy (avatar) in every universe. Same goes for 3 Great Angel. Due to seraphimon and ophanimon are basically their Light Equivalent.

patamon was the only one who can defeat daemon if he was able to digivolove into seraphimon who is the opposite side of daemon , that's why I consider seraphimon stronger than imperialdramon FM and strong as the 3 royal kinghts (omegamon , alphamon and jesmon) BTW sadly that we didn't saw daemon again in tri or kizuna

However, Seraphimon was easily oneshotted by Cherubimon Vice in 02 movie (plus also in Frontier) and apparently Daemon is stronger than Cherubimon? Sure, maybe with his suicide technique he could take the win, but if no, I'd say Daemon is still stronger. The fact that you're someone's counterpart doesn't mean that you're definitely as powerful. And he still might be stronger than Imperialdramon FM because he had such terrible performances in 02, but Magnamon proved to be stronger than Seraphimon because he beat Cherubimon in 02 movie along with Rapidmon.

And in tri, Patamon-digivolved Seraphimon got his arm twisted by Raguelmon and couldn't do anything, and was one of the megas who then got reverted back to their baby forms, leaving only higher tier mega in the sky, i.e Jesmon, Omnimon, Alphamon and Raguelmon, so it was pretty telling who was way more powerful

@@CadeNg Yeah exactly, Seraphimon has never seemed stronger than the other Chosen Megas. In theory he could be very effective against Evil Digimon but even then he's been pretty disappointing. I mean at least Cherubimon Vice was a Virus type Evil Mega so he should have been weak against Seraphimon but he still beat him easily. And Cherubimon was gang-banged when he really faced strong Megas like KaiserGreymon & MagnaGarurumon, sure he still gave them a reasonable fight but only after he ate lot of data & that duo was inexperienced anyway. Plus the same happened in 02 but replace Magna & Kaiser with Magnamon & Rapidmon.

@@minicle426 This SkullSatamon also paralyzed Imperialdramon and he casually soloed a bunch of seasoned Perfects in a matter of seconds. Then, they needed Imperialdramon FM against him. So yeah, I know what you're getting at with this but mostly I just mean that SkullSatamon wasn't really a pushover. He was pretty much a Mega level Digimon who was classified as Perfect/Ultimate for some reason. Still, Seraphimon isn't taking Daemon with his Adventure feats considering that Daemon was mostly only annoyed and bored when Imperialdramon FM attacked him even with assistance. And his glass cannon status doesn't help at all either..
