Lucemon is one of the few Ultimate level Digimon with the strength of a mega level Digimon. So he rarely needs to use his Mega form of Lucemon Shadowlord Mode.

Lucemon Falldown Mode casually took on 6 RKs in ReArise (Alphamon, Omegamon,Dukemon,Magnamon,Ulforceveedramon and Examon) and was winning. He even took Examon's Dragonic Impact and asked him if that's all he's got and even hit Ulforceveedramon who is the fastest of the knights.

4:06 Technically, Lucemon isn't a Mega level in his child form or Chaos Mode. His child form is his Rookie form while his Chaos Mode is Ultimate level, it's just that Angel type Digimon tend to display strength that is at least one level above their current form. He doesn't become Mega until his Shadowlord Mode.

I’d never noticed before but the pommels on Piedmon’s swords are the 4 card suits. Also Lucemon is a fallen Angel so he’s kind of half and half for Angel and Demon. Machindremon is actually part of Justimon.

Y'know, I never realised how much Seraphimon was based on Jesus. I thought he was just supposed to be a seraphim with a pope hat, but between being someone's lord, quoting "Well done, my good and faithful servant" (albeit, chopped up and reordered a bit), an attack called Testament that sacrifices its own life and mentions the "deepest mystery" (a term used by the pope when Seraphimon was introduced, to refer to Christians being called to be sons & daughters of God, saved by Jesus' death on the cross), and Strike of the Seven Stars being a _blatant_ reference to Revelation 1:16. Heck, according to _Digimon_ lore, there's even a prophecy/legend that Seraphimon wins the final battle against evil just by arriving, which is a very common Biblical depiction of Jesus' second coming (Zechariah 14:4, Revelation 19:11-21, and _especially_ 2 Thessalonians 2:8). It's actually really impressive how much research they did, they really knew their chops!

I LOVE how around that time pretty much everyone was like "OMG no never include religion in your stuff!" and Yugioh and other anime of the time censor SO many references out in both anime and card game so noone would think they were including anything along those lines, and then digimon comes along and goes "Nah, let's have angels and demons and let's make Satan the final boss of the fourth season actually"

Just from the introduction saying "no fusions", I feel like most any of the good guy megas from Frontier shouldn't have been on this list, whether they were a good mega or not (in this case Emperorgreymon). Each individual spirit is technically its own digimon, so it's arguable that even Takuya and Koji's base megas of Aldamon and Beowulfmon would be scratched as both are made of their respective champion level human and ultimate level beast spirits (the call out in the english dub is right there "execute, fusion evolution"), and that's not even considering that Emperorgreymon and Magnagarurumon are both comprised of 10 spirits each, or Susanoomon being all 20. Secondly, y'all might wanna get your scripts together. You bring up Justimon earlier in the list than Sakuyamon and yet make the comment of "we said no fusions, but we didn't say anything about bio-merging" during Sakuyamon's part, a quip that should have clarified that fact on your first inclusion of a bio-merge.

It looks like Lilymon, only with the Yugioh card Metalmorph, giving it that new look.

Most digimon don't evolve in a straight line but have multiple branching paths. There's several digimon that can digivolve to the same digimon so Rosemon being the final evolution of multiple lines is completely fine.

The former, because he did a good job on going against the DigiDestined, but got some kind of redemption as well, and HerculesKabuterimon, because he basically saved the world bu pushing in all infected mega evolved Digimon into the reboot with quite a speech.

My favorite Mega (Ultimate in JP) is a tie between Alphamon and Dorugoramon

It's still Mega in JP. Only thing that changes between english and JP is that Ultimate and Ultra are switched, so in some versions Metalgreymon is ultimate and Omnimon is Ultra, while in some dubs the opposite is true. Mega has always been mega. Ultimate is usually a level above Mega (like Omnimon, Lucemon Satan Mode, the Burst Modes and so on), but that is not official official, although some official games use it.

Most lists beyond top 10s from them are just additional. Their sakuyamon part is the same from the older top 10 list of same name. They do justimon and dont mention that he's also a biomerge. Just a rant, not something to argue about.

I would change piedmon for Malom Myotismon everyday....although regular Myotismon it's superior and beat digimon villain.
