In today's Deck Profile, we take a look at Alex's build for Machinedramon! A deck with incredibly odd ratios when compared to other decks in the Digimon Trading Card Game but has an incredible amount of versatility and brute force at it's disposal.

Great profile, machinedramon is a cool deck has its own playstyle and i love building them stacks to unreasonable lenghts XD also the bt15 megadramon with the dedigivolve is great i love it my opponents not so sure about them but it makes me happy to reduce stacks to level 4 and 3's :)

Yeah, it's a great deck with it's own personality for sure. Only thing I find funny is that the stacks can get so long that they can cause matches to go into over time. Sam from the team had that happen to him at the BT12 Regionals!

Marvin has been mostly useless in any build that likes to evo up, that I have tried. Always wished he was an Analogman instead. In the classic hard playing the level 6s style, it has been decent with Marvin/Matt and the Supreme Connection. Using BT15 DemiMeramons with BT2 Tapirmons, promo Ukkomons, and some EX1 Hagurumons for a low end. Only level 4s are a couple Raremon. Managed to beat some of the more annoying decks a few times. Just can't be afraid to slap down an EX1 Machinedramon turn 1-2 with only 2-3 sources. Against some decks that is a terrible idea though. One win I don't like to count, was from opening 3 Ukkomon and drawing the 4th from the evos... Just rushed them down without ever playing a level 6, and getting lucky in security. I hope both Ukkomons get the limited to 1 treatment. My Machinedramon build is rarely the same 2 locals in a row, ever since EX3 came out. Love the deck.

You can absolutely tell that you've got a lot of love for the deck! Interesting point about Ukkomon, I'm in the same boat and think Ukko should go to one copy.

To start, Machinedramon was my first deck ever built, and has stayed more or less my "main" ever since. I love it to bits & totally resonate with your point of never running the same build 2 locals in a row. I really tried to give Marvin a chance but ultimately he got cut. I was running BT-5 Mekanorimon + RB1 Espimon with black base for a while because an 8k blocker wall was really funny against ukko, nume, red hybrid, & devas. I've been running purple base for a bit now and have found the BT-15 Candlemon as a good alternative to Tapir purely because memory choking your opponent is an added benefit, & with the purple draw engine decking out has been a looming threat in more than a few playthroughs. The ukkos & Hagurus are the same and it has me itching to find room for Haguru X soon. I don't run Matt, but that is intriguing. I run 3 Analog & BT-1 Tai (this slot switches between BT-1 Tai & ST-15 Tai depending on whether I want offense or defense focus.) Top end I run Ragnaloard, & am playing around with Omni Merciful Mode & Apocalymon to relative success since the stack will probably start with 3 lvl 6s already (4 if you tuck one with BT11 Machine or with chaos X.) It's hilarious to end of turn with Apoc, tuck EX-1 machinedra, gain 5 memory, & keep turn. I run 2 of the BT-15 Guardromons as emergency delete protection for Apoc / Merciful Mode. Sometimes though you've just gotta slap down a Chaosdramon & get rid of the threat. Yes it's scary to give a ton of memory, but this deck holds a lot of weight in shock value. Thank you DUDigimon for the video, I look forward to seeing your takes on this deck when BT-17 comes out with the new Chaosdramon, & if you plan on running the collision trains (or the new EX7 megadra + gigadra.)

I really want to start the game with a Machinedramon Deck. But to be honest, it's a little bit challenging to understand how to pilot the deck. Everyone is playing it differently.

It's very variable, some people will play it with more of a focus on hard playing level 5's, some go the Marvin route, other's go more for Analog man. A really good deck to start with at the moment is the ST17 Double Typhoon deck. Get two copies of the deck and you've pretty much got a competitive bunnies deck. You may also be able to use stuff like the level 5 Rapidmon in Machinedramon.
