For today's deck profile, its time to look at some Chaosdramon action. This deck's major goal is to constantly de-digivolve your opponents board, forcing them to draw and potentially deck themselves out. In testing, this deck has shown a lot of success with wide and aggro boards. While not perfect, maybe you'll find a way to make it even better.

I really like machinedramon deck including this one, it heavily test the player deckbuild and playtest ability to the roof, Literally make you feel like mad scientist.

For sure! This list is by no means perfect! I've seen lists where players focus more on the on play of the boss monsters or even their level 5. But rarely do I see the intention of building up the stack for value.

It definitely plays different than a conventional list! And it does make you more stack dependent but in all honesty, I enjoyed it during playtesting.

This is one of the best versions of Mugendramon that I have seen from a digituber, so bravo for that. This being said, a few notes: 1) Analogman should still be a 3 of. Marvin is amazing, but he doesn't refill your hand when you pitch for his effect, and getting more than 3 redirects with your lvl 6's is peak Mugendramon gaming. 2) For the Levia matchup, running HoverEspimon is better than relying on having both ex1 and ex3 underneath your ChaosX. So swapping your Guardro to HoverEspi would be the best move, rather than increasing the number of Raremon. 3) For your options, personally I think using Black memory boost is better for the deck than Defense Training, because gaining memory is more versatile than reducing evo costs. Additionally, the second AotHMD should be swapped out for the 3rd copy of Supreme Connection. All in all, a good build, as it understands what Mugendramon is trying to do. Just slight modifications can make the deck even better.

Appreciate all the wonderful feedback! I'm considering now moving Airdramon to 3. The advantage of Guardromon is the reboot, while the Hoverespimon is going to be live for deletion prevention (except in the case of DP reduction with yellow vaccine). Will tinker with these numbers for sure. Defense Training I think would be better for the stack building and it also has the advantage of not bottom decking your tamer. HOWEVER! I do think you are right in that with the black memory boost, this is more effect if you go for more on play. As for AoTHMD - I agree with this. The Supreme Connection has been nice to reset my top deck. The psuedo removal has also been helpful though. But overall, constant de-digivolve makes my opponent's lives hell ha ha.

While I do understand the advantage that guardromon has, the current list has reboot from Haguru and Airdra as well, and Hover's innate protection is permanent, unlike Guardro's which is only for 1 turn. It's completely undeniable how important that protection is against Leviamon. Defense Training is useful, true, and it does eventually boil down to personal preference, but BMB allows for emergency clapbacks with a hard dropped ex1 Mugendramon, and keeping turn. You're essentially only paying five to climb up to a ChaosX after the mem boost and Supreme Connection. Pop the boost and connection to slam Ex1 Mugen for 2, evo for 1 into Chaosdra, evo for 2 into ChaosX. That chain of events is not possible with training. De-digivolve on attack with bt15 Megadra is good enough to where I run it as a 2 of. It's too good lol. Thanks for taking the time to actually read my comment.

@@Megidramon Absolutely! I do my best to read all comments and forms of feedback. I concede that these lists aren't perfect but do want to provide a baseline starting point for players who want to venture into other playstyles of certain decks and archetypes. Your opinion is valued and I appreciate it! It has been interesting in play testing games where if I go perfect Dorimon, Dorumon, I'm able to get constantly get the draw 1 and +1 memory each turn with Marvin, even if I don't use his start of main effect. However, because I'm in Dorumon, I must get reboot from some other avenue, Guardromon or Airdramon. But you are correct in that if I'm in Hagurumon, the redundancy isn't as necessary. Finally, there's nothing nastier than having Chaosdramon out with a when attacking that de-digivolves 1, three times. In the Wargreymon and Melga match ups, finding the next level to climb back into is rough! The funniest moments are digivolving into Megadramon, finding another one to tuck under, then going into Chaosdragmon to tuck the third one.

As someone who has been playing this deck as my main deck since before ex3, I don't agree with your ratios at all. 11 lv'5 digimon is the lowest amount I have seen anybody run. The main issue you will run into is that you don't have enough resources for important game winning plays once you have one big stack on your field. Just think about it, it isn't uncommon to see a chaosdra X with atleast 8 lv5 digimon tucked under it once you evolved up from machinedra, to chaos to chaosdra x. That only leaves you with only 3 other lv'5s in your whole deck. Not enough to capitalize on a ex-5 machinedramon play. And you probably don't have any sources left in trash after building your stack to use chaosdra x start of main effect. While having marvin in this deck is great, having the redirect of analogman is key in meta match-ups. I wouldn't play less than 3 copies of him to make sure you see him enough. Even when you focus on building a stack in this deck, ussually a 8-8 or a 8-7 split between rookies and champions is the sweet spot. People sometimes are too hesitant to not let go of the basic rules of deckbuilding this game has teached us over the years, but this deck requires letting go of the 'normal' and embracing the unconventional to get the most out of it.
@DIGI-PANDA
@DIGI-PANDA 11 ай бұрын
I can agree with you on the subject that the deck can be build on an unconventional route. The basis for this build is to lean more into the stack building route - focusing less on the unconventional plays of hard playing Digimon and building into a stack. In test games, the ability to when digivolving, de-digivolve has frustrated a few of my opponents as this cuts off blast digivolution instances and can also remove the likes of armor purge.

Hey digi-panda I run a Machinedramon build and I could really use some advice for deck list. The main issue if finding a replacement for Dorumon and Defense training, cuz either cards are out of my budget. And many lists that I have seen are not budget friendly for casual plays

I still like hoverespeemon for the levia match up. You always have a lower digimon that can't be deleted by effects. With this they can never double pop your stack, so you don't need to be at chaos x with twi different protections to prevent it.

An excellent option as well. In some ways this make it superior to the Guardromon from BT15 who only gets a single turn reprieve. However, that inheritable reboot is very beneficial as well for your top end.

It was definitely a fun list to test. I think if you're looking at hard playing your level 6's more frequently that yes you should bring those numbers up. This particular variant was leaning more towards a stack variant build. In addition, to customizing your level 5 line up as you please. Edit: One other reason why I dropped Metalgreymon to 1 copy is because with so much de-digivolving, I'd attack and mandatory trigger something that would always delete the Digimon which would whiff on the deleting a Digimon by battle for Metaltyrannomon or Rapidmon's effect to proc.

The pile build can be really rewarding. And it throws off a lot of players when they're losing their Digimon that can normally float into something else. It forces them to camp in the raise more. Unfortunately, I felt that you do need both machinedramons for that DP reduction protection when you go into Chaosdramon X.

@@DIGI-PANDA I cut bt11 Machine personally. I hate it Trashing so many cards that I usually want. I just run 4 ex1 machine now, and hard slam my Machinedramons, digi into Chaos if I am building a stack in the back, and HoverEspi feels a little nicer to me then Gaurdromon, you have that static protection all the time from Leviamon, and Deathxmon.

@DIGI-PANDA

I had considered it because you can redirect with Analogman or the block from Marvin Jackson. The only problem was, I feel like Airdramon provides you the free value of in essence basically playing the Marvin while you have to hard play your other tamers. Unfortunately, finding the ability to play the Tai is more problematic. Wait. As I was writing this is it the Unsuspend Blocker Tai from ST5 or the ST15 Tai for the draw, and DP? Even then, I do feel there are enough Digimon now that can prevent the unsuspend or suspend from blocking that makes it less valuable to a certain degree.
