Grabbed the deck and already bought cards to upgrade it, I now have a new goal and that's to build the Beelzemon, my all time favorite Demon Lord. I'm addicted already lol. I love your videos, been my main source of info on this game outside my friends. Digimon is blowing up here, 6 new players in the last few weeks.

Just bought these two starter decks to learn the game with my gf. Hoping to glean a little bit of beginner knowledge from your combos to assist in our learning process, and I'm really looking forward to hopefully getting invested into the TCG as a whole!

Very entertaining video. I just saw a tone of misplays, playing a jogress deck for the past three weeks. Also idk if he was aware but Gyrosean’s hand was visible on camera nearly the entire time. Anyway to the misplays I saw so others can learn. 5:20 When DNA Digivolving you must put the color on the left of the card on top of the stack. Angewomon’s stack had to be on top of LadyDevimon’s under Mastemon, but what happened was the opposite in the video. 8:08 Nyaromon’s inheritable effect is if you have a yellow Digimon draw one, and if you do trash one, not just draw one. Same thing at 8:24. Seems like this was played correctly in game two but in game one it was still played incorrectly. 17:40 another incorrect DNA evolution. Dinobeemon needs a green Digimon on top of the stack, so Exveemon had to be under Stingmon instead of on top.

@@aweebwashere1000 I wasn’t counting misplays like that. The only misplays I was pointing out could be considered illegal since they are mechanically wrong. Moving out was a strategy misplay, not a mechanical one.

@@Spinelwolf This game was played quite a while ago; well before anyone really knew how DNA evolutions really worked. I doubt either of them would make these same mistakes again today. Good thing though, the DNA stack positions didn't change anything in these matches. But the discard flub might, maybe, possibly have changed that round.

@@masterlinktm I understand this game was played and recorded a while ago cause the decks released at the same time at BT08. So imo this video was posted really late. But the point of my comment was to educate those that read comments in case any are new to the game. It wasn’t a dig at either creator since I do follow both.

I just started the game last week and got this very 2 starters. I've been a MTG player for the last 15 years or so... I'm stil trying to figure out the deckbuilding on this game... how many options, how many tamers, how many of each lvl digimon to put in the decks, I'm having quite the fun with this new game tbh.

Both are great but they need to be upgraded. I prefer Mastermon but I think Imperial is stronger as you almost can’t loose if you hit your combo early enough.

I am a long time MTG player and have been hearing of Digimon TCG from others in my lgs. I have been looking at getting into since I heard of the Lillithmon Loop deck and thought it was so eerily close to my Green Black Graveyard deck in EDH. Definitely getting the Purple/Yellow Mastemon deck later on today!

you *CAN* buy 2 if you're trying to have a budget deck to bring to a locals, but not necessary if you are just using to learn

I know a site you can get 6 of these for £33 bucks if you want the yellow one st10 and the st9 is £38 for x6 decks. Which is cheap considering they sell for £10 eacb
