I cannot rule it out, but noticing a single invincibility frame in an animation is quite tricky.

This also happens to me sometimes with DG dimension or Confusion storm, where if my digi fully executes one of these moves by the time an enemy exceutes one of theirs, my digi isn't affected

Hi Geta, is there's a glitch that causes stats to go above the 999 threshold?

Yes there is. If you open a glitch shop with a specific item in your 9th inventory slot and you click on the option to sell an item, the game will read the item's ID number and scramble a specific area of memory according to this number. The higher the number, the further away it overwrites code. A few numbers align with the area that stores your stats, so you can scramble up your stats to get stuff like 20.000 attack. This glitch was used in the previous world record speedrun. It's not very useful casually though because winning a battle would drop the stat back to 999.
