I didn’t like it to much when it came out but there where scenes I really enjoyed and the designs of base madleomon and dorulumon are just great. I especially loved the digicross versions where they actually look like parts of the base digimon. Not the whole shoutmon times 200 stuff but like the dorulucanon or the starmon sword. Especially the funny ones for the mission with the crow digimon to make it laugh

It cheapens the concept of Digimon fusion which supposed to be unique and only for certain Digimons but this show just fuse any Digimon with anything it can. And the final boss Bugramon just exist with no explanation other than he's evil. The manga was better, they actually explore and explain why Digimons can't evolve and why fusion was the only way to get stronger at the time.

Digimon Xros Wars will always hold a special place in my heart. Mainly because it has my favorite OST in the Digimon animes. This is where Koji Wada (rest in piece)! That, and Shoutmon’s Digixros forms remind me of Power Rangers and Megazords and all.

@@creltry1756 Pretty sure he's talking about Adventure and Adventure 02. If you actually didn't know, this season (Xros Wars) was the 6th. Adventure -> Zero Two -> Tamers -> Frontier -> Savers -> Xros Wars -> Xros Wars: Hunters -> Applimon -> Adventure 2020 -> Ghost Game.

Honestly not my favorite season, but that’s mostly due to how they handled DigiXros. I love the concept, but tossing out the concept of levels kind of made it feel too powerful. Not to mention the ones that weren’t from the anime just…so many just felt illogical. Stuff like using one of the sovereigns along with two other powerful Digimon to make Groundramon. If it wasn’t from the anime or manga, then they just threw stuff together at random to the point where it actually gets frustrating to think about. The concept is fantastic. The story and characters are great. I just wish that they put some more thought into DigiXros for other stuff. It says something when a good chunk of the ones from the DS games are just normal Digivolutions in other media for the base Digimon and were basically forced to follow the formula instead of doing something more creative with it. They could’ve made a ton of fun new ones for the games and Xros Loader toy, but they just slapped stuff together as an after thought. Doesn’t help that there is little chance of them revisiting the mechanic and applying new stuff to it. Well…there was that one small group of Yellow cards in the current card game, but they feel more like pack filler than them actually taking the concept seriously. Know what? Even if it is only via the card game/Liberator, I’d love for them to make some new DigiXrosses. Let them clearly be composed of certain Digimon that get included in their reference book entry, so on and so forth. Just bring DigiXros back and actually try! (And no, I don’t count that lazy Xros Up naming convention they did with Hunters. God that was so lazy and stupid! Just mash names together for crying out loud if it is that hard! Shoutmon Xnumber was more creative!) Sorry. I just feel like they didn’t tap into the full potential of Xros Wars and it upsets me.
