What i liked about Vamdemon was that unlike other villains he had a greater plan,to combine both worlds and rule both of them,he even thought he was destined to do it while other villains were just kinda evil or wanted to kill the digidestened. He was brutal but you kinda want to see him more because of his cool design and moves. I don't don't really care about his other forms the first one will always be the best one.

Little known fact, the original Vamdemon design is actually based on Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Specifically the part 1 Dio. Part 3 and Heaven Ascend DIO are represented by Lucemon and Lucemon X respectively.

Vamdemon/Myotismon is probably the most iconic of the villains in Digimon. He has a great arc, and unlike most villains, he really made the heroes work for every victory, and he's very much the Digimon equivalent of Cell, since both really make you think of every move your going to make.

Vandemon/Myotismon not only epitomizes computer viruses but also organic ones. In the older lore it stated that Vandemon grew very powerful by draining the data of other Digimon like a parasite. Whatever remaining data was left over gets corrupted and the helpless Digimon gets turned into a Bakemon, who becomes Vandermon's minion. Basically his motif as a classical vampire suits his virus warrior archetype very well. One could even say he is the perfect virus Digimon, and therefore one of the best villains of the entire franchise.

Still say and will always say it GrandDracmon should have been the conclusion of the Vamdemon or Myotismon line. GrandDracmon just has so much more in common with Vamdemon than most of his own line the color scheme scheme the more obvious vampire motif the blond hair but grown out. I think the lines should have been merged and make new Digimon out of the ones left out. My person head canon line id preferred would be Rookie: Dracmon Champion: Matadormon Últimamente: Vamdemon (Myotismon) Mega: BelialVandemon NeoVandemon VenomVandemon Ultra: GrandDracmon Or maybe GrandDracmon can also be a joggres like Omnimon and Imperialdramon but of VenomVamdemon and DanDevimon. well to be fair the Grand Dracumon lore pretty much suggests there are going be more multiple vampire digimon lines expanded in the franchise since he is referenced to be the king of all vampire Digimons. so it make sense that bandai is going create more vampire lines beyond just Dracumon and vamdemon lines to establish a Digimon vampire hierarchy with Grand Dracumon at the top in lore.

My two (headcanon) Vamdemon evolution lines are: DemiDevimon->IceDevimon->Vamdemon->BelialVamdemon->Barbamon and Dracumon->Sangloupmon->Vamdemon->SkullKnightmon->DarkKnightmon (Note: I don't accept evolution levels that Adventure reboot gave to SkullKnightmon and DarkKnightmon, because in Xros Wars SkullKnightmon and DeadlyAxemon's evolution into DarkKnightmon was presented similarly to WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon's evolution into Omegamon (i.e. Two Mega Level Digimons combine into one ultra-strong Mega Level Digimon) )

@@undead4500 ...........His evolution isn't incomplete, as it has been shown multiple times across various Digimon media that it's possible for them to have multiple various lines. For me personally, Devimon is the champion form that I always most associate with Myotismon, even though more people would liken him more to the more recently introduced NeoDevimon as his "proper" evolution. You can even see this sort of branching evolutionary tree happening as recently as Digimon Survive, as Agumon in that game, for example, can become either Greymon, Tyrannomon or Tuskmon if I recall correctly. It's just assumed that Digimon have "proper" digivolutionary lines because of 2 primary reasons, I feel: 1) The anime tends to stick to just one line for each main Digimon that appears in each series for the sake of consistency. Even then, it zigzags somewhat, as Biyomon has been shown digivolving into both Birdramon and Aquliamon in 2 different series, but they both eventually became Garudamon 2) It's not uncommon to compare Digimon to Pokemon for most people, and unlike Digimon, Pokemon usually only ever have 1 possible evolution they can become, with those that do have branching evolutionary paths they can take being much more rare, which causes people to look for "true" digivolution lines for each Digimon because of the influence of Pokemon being so popular

Done Devimon is a new Evolution for Devimon. it not issue of different branching evolutionary tree because nether any of vamdemon forms states that he is evolved form of Devimon. vamdemon profile clearly state that he was risen from the dead as undead vampire by the dark arts, which is completely different from Devimon origin wise who is a Devil Type digimon who had fallen into the dark area and was previously an Angel digimon (Angemon). The only thing that they both overlap are with bats. Devimon being a Demonic Devil Digimon with Bat-like Appearance and Vamdemon being a vampire and bats being one of the animals that vampires are usually associates with. (along side with Wolves, Rats, etc) Also Demi Devimon/ Devimon being a Familiar Devil servant for a vamdemon or any other high ranking dark type digimons. bro video games always changed vamdemon adult/child form there wasn't any consistently for him. some game it is Pico Devimon/Devimon while other games uses bakemon or wizardmon and most recent they used Dracumon for survive. The games just Sticks on the based being closest to Digimon lines until WHEN bandai decides to introduce a proper related evolution which the original post was asking for. bandai stated that they want the franchise be more consistent now hence they are introducing new evolution forms for existing digimon lines that are directly linked to them. look at piedmon for example bandai are using Jokermon who was introduced in Xro wars as his Perfect form or Etemon got Targetmon as his Adult form or Rebelimon for Ogremon, Rare Raremon for Raremon, etc.

The names of the English dub are the official names the company wants used. They are translated into English and modernized for English speakers. Some are stylized according to the teams tastes. In my opinion these are the names that should be used. Most of the other language dubs are quote inferior anyways so I wouldnt use that as some baseline for who uses those literal translated names "hououmon vs phoenixmon.. etc" just look up "zudomon french dub" most non eng dubs of the animes are terrible.

With all due respect, I don't understand why an explanation of vampirism is necessary, A: Vampires are the most common place monsters in cinema, B and most importantly: Digimon aren't known to suffer from vampirism or even sanguine vampirsis as their insides are nothing more than free flowing data, so Myotismon's vampirism is legit just for show
