Digital biomarkers for Parkinson's

Jodie visits SERG Technologies and Imperial College who are developing better ways to measure movement symptoms in Parkinson's disease. These "digital biomarkers" will help develop personalised treatment plans as well as enable research teams to more accurately measure the effect of new therapies.
PD-CL Rehab is an 18 month industrial research project in which SERG Technologies Ltd, in partnership with chartered neurological physiotherapists from the LV Rehabilitation Centre and the Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Technology Network at Imperial College London, are developing a rehabilitation platform for Parkinson's Disease and wider neurological disorders.
