If anyone can confirm this working on HD Zero I would be greatful. As someone is saying otherwise.

Thank you soooo much. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get it to work for my 03. Going to try this and see if it works.

Very cool dude. I’ll have to look into my FC and try this out. Sometimes when you can’t turtle out of tall grass it would be nice to shut the vista down, Or a tree hahah. 👊🏼

Thanks for this video! Seems to be the only possibility to switch off Caddx vista or O3 air unit during pit stop. Very usefull if are still in setup of bf.
@DRONEPOISON4 ай бұрын
I definitely use it on all my setups, as o3 heats up quick, so if I crash out a ways away I just make sure I save video then power it off till I find the drone with beeper. Glad you liked it and thanks for the view and comment, best wishes.

@@DRONEPOISON It already did! I am so stoked on this! Hey question though, So USUALLY I use the Skystars F722 mini HD PRO(I think the same as you but mini). I have those on my 5"'s but I recently switched to the budget speedybee mini f405's for my 4" builds. The question(finally, sorry)is, if the FC doesn't have those PIT bridge pads, are we out of luck? I mean, that speedybee has "dual BEC setup with 5V 2A and 9V 3A outputs". BUT no bridge pads like the skystars does. Thanks so much Drone poison!

@@DRONEPOISON I apologize if this is a dumb question. FC in the electrical aspect are not a strong suit! LOL
@DRONEPOISON Жыл бұрын
No worries my guy, I can tell you the best way to find out is to use a volt meter like I did and test the output voltage on the pit switch pad. You said it has 5v 9v 3amp so just double check with a meter if it's is 7.4 volts or above you will be good. I will look up the fc aswell

Thanks for showing this, all I have is skystars stacks so this looks super familiar to me. Good to know so I can turn off my DJI when I crash out long distances away. 🤠

nice info DP, good feature if you are trying to get sats or something and cant use usb power.

Or stuck in a tree 😄, but yeah someone online said it couldn't be done on a digital system, so ya know I had to make a quick how too.
@BrandonBeans Жыл бұрын
You can leave the goggles off with DJI and the airunit stays low power. It does this until the first connection to a goggle so I normally do this to aquire sats. Took me a long time to learn this trick 😅
@DRONEPOISON Жыл бұрын
You can toggle low power mode in your goggles as well, but even on low power especially on 03 they still get hot fast. Vista is a lot more forgiving, but 03 will shut itself down if it gets to hot. So either way still great to have options. But I wasn't sure about that, like I didn't know they stayed in low power prior to connection. Always learning new things everyday. Out my way it gets crazy hot and things tend to overheat. Thanks for the info bro much appreciated.

So basically, you run the hot wire to the 10v power pad on the vtx side? Should be the same for the 03 right?
@DRONEPOISON3 ай бұрын
Well all fc's can be different. I have no idea what fc your using, but if your fc supports a pit function to would find that voltage pad and some you will have a jumper to select between 5 and 10 volts so I jump for 10volts with will work for 03 or Vista. If you need more help maybe we can sync up on discord or fb messenger

Don't you have to resource the pinio to activate user 1? . So my FC has a 2A bec. And am running the 03 air unit. Am I able to use user 1 to act as a pit mode? So I the 03 air unit is on rxtx 2 In the cli tab and type ( resource ) Get the resource ID for RX2? is A01 Than clear that with RESOURCE SERIAL_RX 2 NONE. set pinio_box = 40,41,42,43 aux 2 40 2 1600 2100 0 resource PINIO 1 A01 Activate user 1 on an aux switch. And when it's on rx and tx work like normal? But when I flip the switch that kills the power to the air unit, like pit mode? I just want to make sure this is correct and not going to screw up my FC.
@DRONEPOISON8 ай бұрын
To be honest with you I'm not sure on your matter. On my board there is a jumper to solder to either A have full power all the time or to B set up pit mode. I run pit mode which is activated with the user 1 mode setting in BF. As far as changing a resource in cli I'm not sure as I have not had to go that route.
@DRONEPOISON8 ай бұрын
Yeah that's not going to work now that I'm thinking bout it, your talking about changing resorce only for rxtx 2 I'm talking about the power pad not rxtx that will just cause your osd to cutout, not turn off the 03
@Chillin-fpv8 ай бұрын
@DRONEPOISON your right it won't work. How do I control the 10v pad with user 1 like on my darwinfpv F7-100A cement series stack? It comes from the factory like that. You have to activate user 1 to turn the 10v pad on
@DRONEPOISON8 ай бұрын
Like I was saying, mine comes setup with a jumper, like three small pads in a row you jump two pads with solder blob, so two to the left would be 10volt on all the time, or jump the two to the right and it sets it to user 1, its re-routed through the jumper, so if your fc has a pit mode you can use this trick if not then you might be out of luck. Unless there's is a work around I'm unaware of. If you find a fix please update me.
@AdventureswithQuillen3 ай бұрын
@Chillin-fpv you'd have to do that if using a stand alone pit switch such as the TinysLEDs RealPit. Skystars has it built in already.
