Oh my goodness! Thank you for sharing all of this with us🙏 When I was researching Tbilisi - that was how I found your channel and the first vid I watched of yours. I subscribed then. Now, you’re back. Tbilisi is at the top of my list to visit and perhaps spend a few months in this year 🙏I am now full time nomading it 😉I would definitely appreciate details of “living” in Tbilisi. I love the idea of living in the city (no car) for a couple months... Ooo exciting!! So glad you enjoyed this one too :D We were working from Fabrika which has great wifi and a nice work environment - but there are also several coworks :) Data was super cheap - we had BeeLine sim cards from the Airport and it was 8GB for about $5! shop.beeline.ge/en/bundles/?selectedFamily=2 Taxis are very easy and very cheap ($2 to most places in the city) using the app Taxify. So you definitely don't need a car. We booked our accomodation on Airbnb and there are loads of great and cheap options. Hope that helps! Have an awesome time

Hey! I wanna do a season here when COVID is a little less insane! Is there a decent seasonaire community here? I'd be coming on my own and while I don't mind solo travel it'd be nice to meet people. Also, is there a season pass you can get or is it more economical just to buy a ticket every day you want to ski? Thanks!

Aaaan here I am a native Gerogian (living in Tbilisi), who has not been in Gudauri, you put me to shame:) BTW, I think you will love Svaneti ski resort, it's more... extrem I think is the right word for it, because there are really hight mountains and it's quite thrilling. Thank you for the video and for loving our country.

Hmm, I was just there when they shut it down because of covid, just managed to get a flight out of the country - they closed it on a the day before 1/2m of powder was forecast too... Defo more of a snowboarder than a skiier resort though, tonnes of off piste / powder playground here.

Yeah the off piste is epic! It originally got famous because of that - and all the heli-skiing. Our friends stayed during the lockdown and they said the snow was incredible - shame to miss it but there's always next year! We are mostly skiers but I'd say the majority of people there are snowboarding - I guess maybe Russians prefer to snowboard and they are the biggest tourist group :) Hope you get to visit again in future!

@@digitalnomadgirl I was there on the last day of the season March 16, they actually closed all the lifts the next day suddenly so pretty much everyone left the next day. I'm sure I'll be back...

Definitely way cheaper than Europe :) And there are cheaper apartments if you don't mind not being ski in ski out. Something suitable for everyone :)

What about the language? Is it easy to get by if you just speak English? And is that where they had the Olympics a little while back?

The language is mostly OK. Most people speak Russian as their second language and English as their third. So sometimes it's tricky! But in the ski resort it's easy because they're used to foreigners :)
