I have a buddy from Transnistria. He travels on a Russian passport and most of the time when people ask where he's from he just says Russia. It's too much hassle to explain the truth. He has that same giving energy you see in this video. If he visits your house he repays you by fixing something that's broken, or doing whatever clean up or heavy lifting needs doing. I am so happy to see a video that shows his country in a good light.

Russian people in generell are super lovely and helpful people, especiall the women but men too. See, each country has amazing , heartwarming people and traditions thats why we should give and take just the best of ourselves into the world to make it a better place for all of us :) PS most russians will also invite you to their home and actually give you lots of amazing food, alcohol if you want to and a place to sleep for how long you want to. Same goes for arab and turkish people, they all sit togather and me as a german in the middle of them eating from 1 big plate was such a good feeling , like family, like home, but with "foreign" people. Thats what friendship is all about.

@Deep Melodic ProdZ as russian who lives in Russia, I can tell you that attitude of Russian people towards black people is strange. the strangest thing is that we dont really have a word for black people and the hard n word is somehow stayed for a word meaning black person but when we say that, we dont mean the same as American people there is not much racist component in it russians treat it as just a word. second thing is that black people often participate in anecdotes and shit like that. also because of our ussr mentality, a lot of people from older generation started not liking black people because of blm lootings and because ghettos are usually the most criminal places in USA cities, they just don’t have internet to see what are the reasons of it and etc. just want to say that if you are black in Russia, you will be feeling safe and calm, but sometimes people will point fingers at you because you are so different and say the hard n word but not meaning to somehow offend you. also you will get a lot of interest from younger generation and some of them will ask you for a photo or insta. (tbh when i myself first saw a black person, I behaved kinda same way because im not from Moscow and these things are rare af)

People are nice and happy in cults: either because they don't realise yet, or because they're trying to lure you to stay with them (as seen in the video plenty of times). Watch Midsommar if it helps you to understand the common sense that cults manipulate people, because obviously they won't be able to manipulate anyone to stay if they're publicly cruel, so they pretend to be the nicest people on the planet, to the point that the kindness is also alien: check. Even calling them the equivalent of "family". Soviet symbols and flags are everywhere, and they keep on talking about God. Red flags, man. This is literally the epitome of "too good to be true": that's because it isn't true. They said that people don't come, they only leave: suspicious how people want to leave and never come back to "such a kind place", and how anyone in these comments from an outside perspective is loving it... really feels like y'all are falling for manipulation by not knowing the full reality of what it's like living there. Knowing Soviet Russia, they'll kill the people who go against their cult and hide them: easy to do when everything's so private.

I got a little weepy hearing the sweet little old lady talk about her son who died, and just loved how sweet her (and a lot of people) are in this.

The people of Transnistria are very warm-hearted. Such kind souls. It's not a lie that people with less give the most.

I've been living in Tiraspol since birth. I am only 14, but I managed to see many countries. I've been to China, Italy and many other European countries. And even despite all this, I really adore my city and country. Maybe everything here is old and ugly, but this is still my home country. It is safe and beautiful in its own way. All people are kind and sympathetic, you noticed it :) Here I get a good education, learn English, play professional sports and have the opportunity to go anywhere, despite the fact that technically I live in a non-existent country. I like it here

My husband and I love traveling, we backpacked around Asia for six months after we got married, and have dozens of countries listed that we want to visit in the future. And this video put Transistria on the list. It actually reminded me of a tiny town in Japan we visited. It may have been more built up and newer, but the people in this video remind me of the generous, kind, and beautiful people we met there. And, from what I saw, Transistria certainly has a classic beauty of its own, especially in its people

i want to ask you how it is living there? the people dont look like they're russian, they look a lot like the old ladies from romania where i live
@HOCKN57342 жыл бұрын
@@vlad7209 The first thing you should know, there is no such thing as a nation in Pridnestrovie, for us all here are Russian brothers, there are 3 nationalities living in this country: Ukrainians, Russians and Moldovans (this is if you don't count visitors), so there are no "Romanian grandmothers" here, only babushki. Life is good, at least I live in the Slobodzeya and I like everything here except for schools, at school neither teachers nor the director can't control the behavior of students, which is why I returned home with a severe headache due to the fact that one guy made me a deflection, and you know what? The school said that we would sort ourselves out with each other (I still get a headache sometimes). There are still problems with work but it's pretty beautiful here and the people are kind. I want to emphasize that this is my personal view of the PMR from the side of a 14-year-old boy.

This is kind of openness was seen through out most of Eastern Europe especially during the Soviet era, when I was a kid everyone was always polite, friendly,giving and caring for each other because the life style of the people was community based. You won’t find this much in western societies because they were raised with regard only for them selfs and self benefits so I love it when they show Westerners come to the East and be surprised by the hospitality of its people much love from Latvia :)))

I find Russian people to be very hospitable and very respectful. It is highly unlikely for a stranger to speak badly of somebody, like in the UK for example. It would be amazing to know your opinion. I'm additionally a big follower of this channel and I also make content with regards to life in Russia. for some reason the youtube algorithm has actually not been as kind to me yet. Nearly everybody who sees my material states that it is great, unfortunately very few get to enjoy it. Can you be brutally straight up and say exactly how I can improve my content? I value your honest point of view.

that's true to an extent, communism brought both the best and the worst in people and by the 1980's any sense of community and solidarity was gone.

you gotta be nice to your neighboor because they can make you disappear. communism work just like the building near the main street look nice but move in a little and you will see how ugly it is.

Heartwarming. But careful, some idiot would call you a communist for that
@awesome2cherry3 жыл бұрын
@@lncafein hahaha yeah had that before but honestly I don't mind. As someone who doesnt have a bad memory of growing up in communism. I know a lot of bad stuff happened but they happen in every regime no matter if they are democratic or authoritarian, fascist or communist, in my opinion the regime is just a name and the people in charge are the evil but thats an unpopular opinion.
