Most definitely! What are some of his best movies I should watch
@nicktechnubyte118423 күн бұрын
@FlixTalk hard to say, there's so many movies that are either underrated and so much more that people don't even give a chance! 😔 I miss the days when I could watch the most obscure kind of b movies that you can't even find on DVD or even VHS on the sci-fi channel I can't even remember the last time I actually watched TV, not counting a Smart TV of course!

Loved the wine salesman routine at the restaurant. They should have made another in the series where Kersey tracks down all the bad guys and repeats that wine routine over and over. They could have called it "Death Wish VI: The Wine Seller."

From what I've read, one of the (many) ideas for Death Wish 4 was to have Jill Ireland's character from Death Wish 2 return. Kersey was to try and reconnect with her, but she'd get killed, setting Kersey off on a new rampage.
@FlixTalk17 күн бұрын
That's what should have happened

@@FlixTalk It would've been fun, but what we ended up getting was fine too. Death Wish 4 is one of my favorites. Another early idea was to have Kersey battle an international terrorist. They rejected that, because the then-recent Rutger Hauer movie "Wanted: Dead or Alive" had a similar premise... as if something like that ever bothered movie studios in the past. 😛

Happy that you enjoyed DW4. You're right,..feedback on DW5,..rate it as Meh! Though Bronson was up there in age,..the movie just didn't have the production value. Cannon Films / Golan & Globus were in bankrupt stage at the time. They did a lot of action and cheesy films in the 80's. They were fun. Such as..(Revenge of the Ninja - 1983). The poster on the wall where Kersey shoots that guy@16:39,.is the poster of the movie "Breakin" from 1983. Cannon Films had two bankable stars back then,..Bronson and Chuck Norris. Other good Bronson films: The Mechanic(1972),..which was remade in 2011 starring Jason Statham. Also,.Hard Times(1975) is good too, where Bronson plays a streetfighter drifter. Regarding Chuck Norris,..I would recommend: 1) Code of Silence, 2) Delta Force,..which are good...and 3) Invasion U.S.A. (for the Cannon cheese fun action.) Yep! the 80's were fun!

The Rambo 2 Kill was epic.

Charles Bronson was also supposed to star in Delta Force with Chuck Norris which would have been the ULTIMATE duo...but he turned it down and Lee Marvin took the role instead. Highly recommend that film.

Death Wish 5 isn't as bad as the people say. Is it my favorite? No but still a good watch. My favorite BRONSON moves are MURPHY'S LAW and Mr. MAJESTYK. *I really wish you would react to MURPHY'S LAW*

DW5 is good . Not the best but a good watch . You would love Bronson in Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects 1989 and Murphy's Law 1986.

5 is fine. It's easily the weakest, Bronson is older, and it feels like a made for tv movie. But the villain is memorable, and Bronson is still worth watching. Should move on to some of his other 80s/Cannon movies after!

Part 4 imo is one of the best along with Part 2 . This one is underrated and better than 3 .
