i loved this video.. makes want to make photos again.. needed a video like this. And the new intro music is great.. dont know why all are hating it, i think bits because peole always hate a change when something old will be changed. I m sure when this new intro song will last a longer time and it will be changed , then all the peole will say that it was good and that they want it back. Its always the same.

This was not what I expected, but learnt a lot anyways. Maybe a tutorial on the other way of painting with light? As in illuminating an object to make the scene exposed well and play around with the shadows etc.?

You will need to use Manual mode. Depending on how much light you have, you can go anywhere from 6 seconds to 30 seconds. f-stop can be whatever looks the best. I like to have my ISO as low as possible to reduce noise (we arent trying to get a crisp image anyways). Thats what i usually use. I have a t4i with the kit lens. Happy shooting :)

Small LED flashlights (or even single LEDs) don't shine as bright as a bigger torch and they come in different colors :) works better in my opinion than those big lights you were using, since they produce a finer line :)

Having the name would definitely help but I'm pretty sure they get them from a stock music site like Tripple Scoop. They're usually from unknown or lesser known artists...so the only way you'd get the songs are from the stock site.
@realfun718811 жыл бұрын
im pretty sure he said long exposures. and that it depends on how long you will be light painting for. if you're drawing a circle, expose for 3 seconds, if you're drawing something more complicated, expose for longer, 10+ seconds, Make sure to use the lowest ISO setting possible, and if you don't want the environment to be lit at all, raise your aperture number :)

you should've shown a little bit more of light painting with the torches...in that location, it would be awesome to see some blue lights coming from the floor, just under the barrels...but anyway, nice vid...hope someday you guys can do a more in depth video concerning light painting and night photography, considering the many variables this kind of photography has to offer...

What would have really helped is if you put your camera settings in the corner of each shot that you show so we get an idea of how each shot was done.
