A god who cares won't let his followers fall into the various traps they inevitably find themselves in. Then, his followers say their god tests them, but since their god knows all (even before it happens) why does he give a test when he already knows what the outcome will be? When you ask Christians these questions they give all sorts or convoluted answers ladled with pretzel logic. Because at the end of the day, Christians really don't know. They are fed rote lessons and passages, and they are taught not to think for themselves, but to rely upon an unseen unheard god who a little better than 2,000 years again left a manual (the Bible) to fix the broken humans he created in the first place.
