Hi! Nice vid. Did you try to put the compressor pedal in the effects loop of the Digitech? Maybe that'll solve the issue...

No. I wanted that signal right from the guitar to be amplified. It stopped a lot of the ghost notes and made the Bass come out more to my liking over all. It's amazing where and how you attack those strings to cause the bass to respond like it does. I've done retakes on certain segments of songs and they all come out slightly different. You just have to know when you have the best take 😉 Thank you for the comments. It all helps!

Instead of using a compressor to heat the signal, could you use a clean boost ( have a clean boost but no compressor)

Oh sure. I just happen to have that compressor. But anything to boost the sound to the Trio helps. If anything. Just keep your guitar volume up full.

I would just play the chords as they are simple enough instead of the root note approach. I have had the Trio for several years and do it this way.

Hey no problem with that :) I just do the root notes to get as close to basic bass response as possible. If you play the whole chord then you get a more melodic playing bass line. To me anyway.

Hi. I think you’re making things too complicated. Why not make an intro on track1,a complete verse on track 2, chorus over track 3 and solo over track 4 with the track button on red and make a short outro on track 5. That’s what I do. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the input Alan. Appreciate that. Yep , that sounds like a good way to do it. That was just one of the ways you can pin that song down, the way I did it. It worked for me. I like setting it up to play extended leads too. Appreciate the comment.
