Just came across this video. What is the purpose of this convention? Does it take place every year? Is it still happening in Atl.?

This convention is a gathering and Reunion of all NNEWI indigens living in the USA. The convention is held every year. It was hosted in Atlanta this year. Next year, it will be held in another state in America. It's kind of rotational in all the 50 states of America 🇺🇸. Just like we also have associations of Anambrarians living in USA ie All Anambra State indigens living in America. We get to know each other, build relationships, look out for each other in a foreign land.

Every town in Anambra has a convention in almost all large cities around the world. I keep thinking about the resources used to do this. Wouldn’t doing this in Anambra create a source of funding that will not only develop the state but provide enough resources to also fully secure our state. Never mind the intangible benefits of bringing our families and relatives abroad closer to the people at home.
