I didn't have the experience of watching this movie in theaters, coz I wasn't born yet.. I could only watch it on dvd played by my mom who is a fan of SRK, but I still feel this movie is the best memory of my childhood. The pairing of the King of Bollywood and the Queen of dance (Madhuri Dixit) is gempak!! it means awesome! 🙌❣️🙌❣️

Dil to pagal hai came out in 96/97 like that, bt evn now it still looks fresh. Everythin is beautiful. All the actors did vry well. SRK n Maduri Dixit's chemistry is perfect! If it's bout love, SRK's movies r indeed the best.. ❤ I ❤ Rahul so muchhh! ❤

Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge), from what I've read, was indeed a fan of Bollywood musicals. And this movie was one of the best musicals in the 90s, so maybe he saw it too. The songs, choreography, wardrobe, performances all were fabulous in this.

Yes, Korbin is right, it's the least cringe in fact when it comes out everyone watches it and doesn't even feel that cringe. This movie is really liked by everyone, even foreigners too. It's just that nowadays bad netizens deliberately condemn 90s movies, because they feel cool. Even though they are the same ones who enjoy the 90s movies. For me, this movie is better than the current romance movies. Shahrukh, Madhuri, Karisma, Akhsay they nailed their roles.

Srk and madhuri's acting peaked when they blurr the lines between the play and their real life. Yash Chopra romantic films are mostly grounded for the time, kjo and Aditya Chopra literally followed his template and just kjo was more over the top. Yash Chopra is true pioneer. You should react to his last film before his death jab tak hai jaan where SRK broke his kissing rule that's also a love triangle.

Not the best for me , but I watch it from time to time and like it very much ,he is definitely playing absolute psycho very well ,him beating her personage done so well, it's still feeling so bad , love Madhuri personage . Special mention :brilliant Saroj Khan choreography(especially not completely Bolliwood once) and no less brilliant MD performance of dances.

Indian films climax or plot do focus on one perspective only For example in this film Srk Madhuri and Karishma is the main love triangle since whole movie and it's plot is based on that the movie flows to one direction regardless of many different characters involved including Akshay s . Bdw Akshay technically didn't involved a lot in this film his scene and appearance is what it's call a Cameo; Short and in point just to fit the plot and story
