The game was entertaining but good I don't think so to many desperado plays by Dillard Miami central played a bad game and Dillard lost to them on their bad day. Dillard had one signature win this season that's Western and they won their playoff game check Dillard vs western highlights on KZbin. Had Dillard not switched QB from #3 they would have won Miami central gave Dillard the game 3 turnovers inside their own 30 yard line no points perfect spot for dual threat QB. Defense created 5 or 6 turnovers for Dillard the defense played good enough to win and as a competitor a players and coaches should never be happy about a loss wether it's by 1 or by 40 it's still an L. Who's to say next year will be better. This was a chance for Dillard to make a statement the coaches missed the opportunity to raise the program to another level. Anybody can look good against 1 and 5 teams. Looks like us Dillard fans and alumni accepting mediocrity and if this is true then Dillard fans and alumni that's all the outcome for Dillard football will be mediocre. You need a pit bull not a shitzue back there.

Dude these are 9th and 10th graders playing with a 1st year coach at that, Im a Dillard alumi and I know and see exactly how much of a change Coach Morgan and his staff has made this year. You're wrong in so many ways, first off Western's opponent Dillard will beat them too, but unfortunately we're in different classifications. Secondly, Central aint give Dillard shit they earned that, I was on the sideline watching, I saw everything up close. Third who said the coaches were happy??? Of course they want to win, but hey they didnt. Dillard state ranking was #10 in 6A with a very young unexperienced team, but well coached, Central was #2 in 6A with a well experienced team, well established coached and program, so to watch this very young team give Central fits and this program make a dramastic change from the last 10 years is something to be proud about. Fourth, they have no control over who the play(the players), they did what what they was supposed to win those games. No seniors are on this team, everyone if they dont transfer comes back, so for anyone to think or say that this team and program wont get better is dumb as hell. @@anthonyjj1978 I was at the game also and I'm a Dillard fan I'm just telling you what I saw this season was average Dillard been winning that district and losing in the first round just like the rest of the first year coaches that came to Dillard not to knock the coaches at Dillard they did a good job but there decision to switch the QB was a mistake a missed opportunity to get on a fast track to take the program to the next level and to help the kids get the exposure for the next level you must keep your best athlete at QB unless you have a natural QB Dillard could have put any kid back there if they wanted these results 3 or 4 pics and 3 TDs that's breaking even not sufficient offensive play defense on the field to much against a good team like Miami central a sufficient offense capitalizes off turnovers and move the ball to shorten the game eating up the clock that's why some games be low scoring and that should have been Dillard goal to keep the ball away from central offense but not playing JV skilled QB back there

Broward County I agree and disagree on this while I think your over all message was accurate also as a former player and alum I have to say granted the “right” qb may wasn’t in and maybe if he was in the outcome would have been different but to say dillard caught Miami central on a “Bad day” is taking away all the blood sweat tears and heart those players left on that field last week. If Miami central gifted us turnovers then we did the same to them with our turnovers lucky for me I don’t look at it that way I saw TWO above avg teams going blow for blow only central captiolized on our mistakes two times more then we did (35-20) I kno one thing for sure is that this is not the Dillard of old I don’t give a dam how many 1 or two win teams we played we ant help whose in our district and if their down that specific year but we DOMINATED like a good team suppose to where as last year we struggled to put away those same teams. It takes TIME,A PROCESS & a true identity for a team to become a “POWER HOUSE” & it dam sure don’t happen over night which is the problem with “BLACK FAN BASES” They want microwave success granted Dillard has been rebuilding for the last 17 years since our last state semi appearance in 01 BUT coming into this year under new direction with nothing but underclassmen I knew NOT to expect a championship or a deep playoff run this year because I understand the PROCESS!! but I did want to see improvement I did want to see a change in their ATTITUDE AND DISCIPLINE and this year they came along way in BOTH & they also improved a dam lot you could see it from the close lost to Miramar to the win over Jackson to the game vs booker t where they never laid down to the win AT WESTERN which we was the only team to that this year. All in all it’s not about being okay with losing its about understanding it’s bigger then football it’s about their personal growth as young men and are they learning coach Morgan and his staff has still BELIEF in those players and into this organization something Dillard has been missing for a long time. And for that I say brang on year two PAWSS UP!!!🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️🔵⚪️
