They probably did know! Lowlands is a big festival with lots of stages. So anyone who isn't into what they're watching, just goes somewhere else. It's not a typical metal/punk crowd though, so that's why there's so little moshing going on.
@TheCivildecay6 жыл бұрын
Actually Dillinger dropped in for a other (less extreme) band that couldn't make it to the show... Think it was spineshank or some other nu-metal crap... So the crowd was pretty shocked :)

This is called an "Geheimtipp" ("insider tip") in German. Dillinger Escape Plan will always remain an Geheimtipp. But I suspect that the musicians won't mind. Specialized journalists and apparently heavy metal colleagues were enthusiastic about this band. I think you can see the latter at the beginning of this video (which unfortunately has a very poor sound quality). kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3isfGinnc-XmJY

These kinds of bands today would be on click/backing tracks and kempers. They sound great just by cranking their amps and being exceptionally tight.
@djentisnotagenre_2 жыл бұрын
well their drummer was using a click, and they had a backing track on at least one song in this set (sunshine the werewolf) so im not sure what your point is. i understand that some bands completely abuse computers and shit for their set but theres absolutely nothing wrong with having some backing tracks or using a fucking click, god forbid.
