As usual, another awesome, entertaining video. That spider death on the stairs before Yazma made me giggle - was not expecting it haha! I don't think I've mentioned it before, but I absolutely love the way you edit your videos! The emotes, the sound effects, the little musical themes (you always know when there's a silly Dilli thing incoming lol). I felt bad seeing that comment I left on your first Warlock video though.. I kinda just laughed at you instead of being helpful, so sorry hahaha Said it before, but I love watching you grow as a Warlock or whatever you're playing in your challenge series. It shows how passionate you are about WoW and it really brings out my passion for the game as well. 17:25 They are not pressing Divine storm, They are playing ST build on Tyrannical and there is a talent that gets picked on ST build called Empyrean Legacy, Which is inspired from Ret's necrolord ability back in Shadowlands. The way that talent works is, you use judgement on target and get a buff, this buff activates a stronger divine storm automatically when you press your next Final Verdict.

You might be right but their Divine storm did most of their damage on that fight when I looked at Details. I also saw this last night with another Ret Paladin in a 22 and I had to check details, guess what their highest damaging spell was? xD

@@Dillisan In that specific footage you highlighted and asked on the video it was that talent's effect because they got both Final verdict and divine storm animation at the same time but in general, on that fight you would use Divine storm when adds drop so that might be the reason for it being top damage

​@Dillisan pretty sure boss only gets buffed when it kills a yellow add. Which happens when bladestorm or shockwave hits a yellow add. People cleaving onto them is quite useless but not necessarily bad. It can even be useful because the adds that activate have the health of the yellow adds that made them. So damaging them before they spawn isnt bad. Killing them will spawn a full hp new one so thats not ideal. That said.. its probably best not to spam divine storm ;)

As someone who mains affliction lock I agree with this whole series getting into keys is a pain I am just fortunate to know enough people to form my own keys and am slowly pushing into 22-24 bracket now, Absolutely love this series and hope that more people give Aff Lock a chance and it shows that you do not need to play ONLY meta in keys :) In Darkheart , As a tip theres a space behind the dragon you can gateway to and basically free cast if you get the falling rocks you can move to the side on it, It also puts you behind the eggs so you can ignore the down draft. :D Also as a warlock you are able to skip the 2 horrible bears before 1st boss. :) The Eye Beam in BRH you have to keep jumping just refresh your agony and corruption and siphon life during this period , REmember dead dps is 0 dps :D Subbed and Liked :D

For oakheart, with the group you had, stack in with the group for the root drop and paladins have a very easy time clearing these. their freedom wont be up for every set but if they're a half decent ret they can rotate divine shield and bop between freedom cooldowns to clear every set. it's a lot easier if the roots are dropped close together :). otherwise, probably still drop them close to the boss so the tank can pick up the adds when they spawn and then passive cleave them down. Gateway and Portal are great for dresarion as you mentioned. But they're also amazing for the tree before to cancel the knockbacks and portal removes root allowing you to clear 1. (But its probably better for the knockback)

When I use my own keys I also often get people who dont have the highest itemlevel. Especially now when I started late in the season and just want to have some casual fun. It sucks not getting invited into groups so I try to be a better example with my own keys as long as the itemlevel is appropriate enough

I've been enjoying the series quite a lot. Warlock is my 3rd favorite caster, right below Shaman and Priest and seeing the "worst" spec of it actually progressing and going Boom proves that you don't HAVE to play the top meta class to play the game.

So for the roots on Gnarlroot, fun fact but you can Blessing of Freedom and run over them if you have a paladin or you can power shift after standing in them as a Druid. But in your higher keys, dmg uptime on bosses becomes important.

18:12 Might that ability be demonic circle? For real, I'm happy you're using gate and all but circle is so much more useful. You're definitely right in that you should stay close to the boss, but put down a circle somewhere in the corner of the room close enough to the boss so that you don't pull it through all the adds but far enough away to get you a bit away from bladestorm and it's all good!

The paladin has a talent that is made for single target that makes your Templars verdict throw a divine storm every 45 sec. Also he is going full single target with executioners sentence haha :)

Then you tag your key and you refuse to take a 1k6 in favor of a carry group. Doing the exact opposite of what you praise

I simply wanted to wait just in case a group signed for the key, which happened. If I took the player in question, there would be no room for the team that signed and I'd have to wait longer to form the group.

a small tip: with the pgf addon you might want to scroll to the bottom to find people with lower ratings who don’t get a lot of applications and might invite you more eagerly. On the flip side, when looking for a tank/healer it might be better to give the leader to the person with the highest rating so the group shows higher to people with the same addon.

Love seeing players take lower ilvl/io people, it brings me back to 8.3 bfa and late shdowlands where my buddy and I used to join low keys and learning raids just to help people :) I met a lot of new friends that way and a few I still play with to this day. I'm even still in the guild we helped out in Sepulcher, though it's mostly dead now :(

27:01 pretty sure the only tank that can soak every charge is Brew, since the damage is dodgeable and they can use their mastery to build up to 100% dodge chance while the boss is casting - not recommended as any other tank xD

I am surprised at how surprised you are that you can get into keys as Aff. I exclusively have played aff on my warlock all expansion and have not had issues getting into keys.

It takes 30-45 minutes to get into most of my keys, so when I do get invited I am shocked. I also spent over an hour signing up to 16's and got into nothing. It becomes easier with a little more rating but the higher you go it becomes so much harder

The community voted for Affliction, they vote each season. I went for KSH because I feel KSM is far too easy for my skill set (though it may not show in these videos lol). I'm over 3.2 on my Havoc DH and have done up to +26 so far this season. Next season is melee season so they will vote near the end of the season for any melee spec apart from Havoc/Ret as I already play those to a decent level. Hope this helps! :)
