As a Warriors fan (Yes, before all their chips) I actually liked Brooks several years ago. I thought he was an intense figure and played great D, or at least a great pest that wouldn't give you anything easy. But, after the dirty GP2 play and all the garbage talk that he, JJJ, and Ja are all doing, they're just literally shooting themselves in the feet, which is fine by me, and the rest of the league 💯 #NoOneFearsTheGrizz

Dillon Brooks needs to understand that a single good game won't automatically turn you into a better above everybody in the league.

Brooks has some marginal ability for an NBA player to create his own shot off the dribble and score, and since that's not Draymond's game he thinks Green is a scrub. That's also why Brooks thinks Ja Morant is a once-in-a-generation talent. But all he's doing is showing his lack of basketball IQ. Making flashy one-on-one plays like Allen Iverson might be the coolest thing there is in basketball, but it's not what wins titles. What does win titles is having players that fit into a system and perform their roles. And you of course need one or two superstars on your team, but not guys like Morant. You need someone like Embiid or Giannis or Jokic or KD or LeBron, who are extremely efficient scorers. Those guys get it done with their size and don't need all the fancy moves Morant has to get the job done. The one exception would be Curry, who is sort of a unicorn with his uncanny ability to shoot from long range and his great TS% numbers.

To be honest, I'm not that against trash talking within NBA. Because trash talk is a very personal characteristic of each individual in the league. Some play silently, some don't. It may be their way to hype themselves or just to become a pest for the other teams to make them lose their cool while playing. But afterall that, what I'm truly against is that like Dillon who speaks so much of himself yet he doesn't do shit. I mean I'm a warriors fan too, and I hated Draymond way back then. But what made me feel okay about Draymond is atleast he does what he do best as a floor general in games. Unlike Dillon who only talks shit while has nothing on him literally nothing. Might have some good games but mostly trash games only being carried. He's acting like a child which is embarrassing to see professionally. Seeing past games of Draymond is how like Dillon acts right now. But atleast Draymond still proved himself worthy of praise due to his accolades. Having to do good D is to do a good D, it must not be substituted with good talk shit only. Draymond does both so he gets under the skin of his enemies. He talks smacks but playing good D too. Dillon? only talks like a duck and is way too far from what Draymond had achieved so far. Unless they surpass GSW's number of chips I will totally change my mind of how I see him right now. He's a joke, meme-worthy player.

sure Draymond more efficient at scoring 8 points with an eFG of 57.8% than Lillard is at scoring 32.3 points at 56.9% eFG. It doesn't take into account how many shots each player has to take to get the percentage. If I shoot 20 times in a game and 10 of them are when I'm tired and double teamed, it would be much harder to keep a higher percentage than shooting 8 times in a game with easier shots. The part that makes lillard more efficient is that he can keep that high scoring percentage with heavier defensive pressure and over more shots. I could 8 points efficiently, but would if my team relied on me to make 30? Could I still score at a high volume with the same efficiency? Can I score at that volume with more defensive pressure?
